WDW bus and Launch stops

I'm driving down to WDW this weekend and have reservations for Hoop dee do for Monday night 2nd show. Though I will have my car, I'm thinking about taking a bus to the MK then take a launch to Fort Wilderness. I haven't been to WDW in a loooong time, years and years. When I take a bus to MK, is it to the TTC, then I take a monorail to the park then take a launch to FW, or do I take a launch from the TTC to FW? I wanted to drive my car to WL and take the launch to FW or drive to FW and take their bus to Pioneer hall but thought it would be better to use Disney's transportation, since I may drink a little at the show. I'm not really sure how to get a bus to MK, I'm staying at the YC, the person there I talked to on the phone says to take a bus to Downtown Disney then take a bus from there to MK, another person suggests going to MGM and take a bus from there, what is the best way? Thanks!

The bus from the Yacht Club to MK takes you to the MK bus stop, which is just outside the gates to the MK, no need to take the ferry or monorail to get across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Much also depends on what time MK closes that night. It looks like 11pm closing every night, so you will have no problems.

Excellent, thank you!
I never would have known that the bus came right to the MK gate, I thought everything went through the TTC, maybe that's how it was when I last visited (1990). Back then I could drive and park my car near Pioneer hall, not anymore I found out. How much time does it take the launch roughly to get from MK to FW?

You might think about taking the boat from Yacht Club to MGM and then the bus directly to FW from the front of MGM. On the way back you can take the bus from FW to MGM and either walk back to YC or take the boat.

I remember reading somewhere that there will be busses available in front of Pioneer Hall after the show that will take me directly to my hotel, true or not?
I thought about going to FW from MGM or driving my car directly to FW to save time, but as my vacation looms nearer, I realize more that I want to enjoy it and not rush, so I thought taking a launch around seven seas lagoon our first afternoon would be a treat for my kids and relaxing for me and my wife.

The only little problem with this is that the FW bus drops you off pretty far from Pioneer Hall. You either have to hoof it a good distance or take the FW internal shuttle, wither of which will take a bunch of time.

Your best bet is bus to MK, then a VERY short walk to the launch that will take you to Wilderness Lodge and then to FW. From the dock at FW, Pioneer Hall is about a 2 minute walk, very close and very convenient.

WOW, you talked to someone who knows way too little about Disney Transport.

There are buses from YC to MK, you don't need to transfer at DTD. Even worse, there is no such thing as a direct bus from DTD to ANY of the 4 theme parks.

If you're going to the late show and MK is closed or near closing, then this is accurate info. But it's not accurate for early shows.
