Rick that's not southern. that's hillbilly.

well either way I do not have one.. I was born and raised in St. Petersburg which has a huge Northern influence. Mostly retired people. My dad owned a few funeral homes.... yes I know that's weird and yes I have seen more dead people than that kid on 6th sense

:ROFLOL:

And hi Jenny!

Well do either of Y'ALL "reckon" or "fix" to do things? :lookaroun

Makes me dizzy too! I've been here a year now and STILL am not used to it..I wonder if I ever will be. :dazzle:

Just a lil' one Ricky. And it's not bad, silly. :)

Hey Jenny! Mine's not the drawstring one. Just the big purseish one.

Hello, hello, hello, and....hello!

I just got excused from a 3-hour meeting! I love my life!!! Apparently, there were too many people there and the guy said anyone who didn't need to be there could leave and my manager looked at me and nodded me off. I was like "Woohoo!" :sohappy:

No. However I do say y'all. But not twangy.

And I do wear pearls with jeans.

But that's about the extent of my sountherness. I hate sweet tea and southern macaroni and cheese is disgusting. I much prefer yankee macaroni. (Which irks DH to no end.) I talk faster than most down here, (but slower than most new york'ers) and I can drive on my side of the road without putting the fear of God into the drivers surrounding me. (That's DEFINATELY not a southern thing.)

Our one year anniversay is coming up at the end of the month and I need some ideas! Anyone have any advice?
I read somewhere that for a one year anniversary you should get a "paper" present. I made a family tree and am planning on framing it (I haven't got around to it yet... :( ) I got the idea from redenvelope - I pretty much copied what they do. Check out this link if you're interested.
Yes....

Ohh-kay...

About two months ago I was in the pet shop with Glory and the lady recommended "bully sticks" as a good chew treat, as opposed to pigs ears and rawhide. So I bought one and the pup LOVES them. I've been buying them ever since (and they're kinda pricey). Well last night we had company, and I was rambling on about the dog (you'd think I gave birth to her, the way I go on) and I mentioned how much she loves her bully sticks. To which I was informed that bully sticks are:

(bull es)

Naturally, the first thing I did was run to the all mighty internet to verify this and it is indeed true.

OMG....I sort of never want to buy them again. But, the wee pup does love them....

Uh, just read this....I'm torn between laughing my head off and wanting to :hurl: ....maybe you should go back to rawhide, Amy. :lookaroun

Is it a southern thing to wait until the very END of the entrance ramp to liesurely meander onto the highway.?Cuz it happened so much to us, we started laughing about it. We were used to Columbus' entering the highway and cutting across three lanes. :hammer:
