Problem is, our state Supreme Court deemed our funding system unconsitutional, but the legislature hasn't done anything to correct it. So people are using their votes to disapprove, -but that doesn't help the kids. DH says if they threaten to cut any of the sports programs, people will come out of the woodwork to vote for a levy. He's probably right. :(

Anyway, sorry about the venting. I hope you have a nice visit with your mom Betty, and congrats on DD's graduation :sohappy: .
Susan, here's hoping for a speedy recovery for your DH and your eye. I'll be thinking of you today. :kiss:

That's it exactly! People don't care if we have 45 students in a classroom, but cut out football, which services about 25 boys, and they go nuts! :(

OMG, I just got a call from my first recruiter. It wasn't what I was looking for. The position was in Philadelphia and I'm looking to get out of here. But still, wow. My friend told me I should expect to get calls immediately but wow.
