Hey all, feeling really crummy today, Andrew is coming home on FMLA and taking the baby out so that I can take a nap, but first I wanted to get opinions on a pic for the photo contest since I managed to not get one entered for the last one. It is so hard to choose pics since I have sooooo many.

Ummmm, I have a bad headache today and am feeling really shaky and dizzy. Andrew took FMLA and is coming home to take care of MJ. It is bad enough that I don't feel safe taking care of her, I am just waiting for him to get here.

Ummmm, I have a bad headache today and am feeling really shaky and dizzy. Andrew took FMLA and is coming home to take care of MJ. It is bad enough that I don't feel safe taking care of her, I am just waiting for him to get here.

I'm ok... my kiddo's not though. Lizzy got into a fire ant hill and has bites all over her fingers. She's running a fever right now trying to fight the infection, but other than that she doesn't seem to notice them. I feel so bad for her - we've already had our lawn professionally treated... twice, this year for fire ants. I think they're coming from our neighbors, I can look out my window and see 2 large ant hils along their sidewalk right now. :brick: Our guys that treat the lawn said it should be good for the whole summer - but they didn't treat the driveway (apparently ants like our driveway) and that's where she got into them.

Sooooo anyway she's napping now. How's my nibblies?

You know what I don't get...when someone calls you...you just hang up, but need to call them back...call them back and they don't answer! :brick:

And Fire ants are awful. Especially for kiddo's. They feel like a bee sting... except you can take a bee stinger out - you can't do anything but wait it out with an ant bite. And she's got about 8 on one hand and a couple on the other. She didn't want to eat lunch today b/c she's right handed and that's the one with all the bites... I ended up feeding her - which is saying something for my very independant toddler who hates when people feed her.

But the good thing is they go away pretty quickly, within the next 2 days or so they'll all be gone.

That sounds horrible. I've only been stung by a bee once, but I remember it hurt a lot. Is there any medicine that you can put on it to keep it from hurting?

So...my dog is a huge nut! She, for the first time ever, dug a hole under the fence and got out! Now, keep in mind, I live on a busy highway...so this is a huge problem! I don't know what her deal is...she's never done anything like this!
