Hello again! Susan, I will be praying for your husband - my mother had knee replacement surgery a few years ago, but she made quite a good recovery. Here's to hoping it will make your DH's life better.

*joins in everyone else's dancing* Since I have to wait till October, I'll be dancing the longest. :D

Not the longest dancing that would be me. I have to wait until July 08. and that is if then.

Betty - are you disappointed with any rides/restaurants being closed while we're there? While it's not one of my favorites, I always ride Maelstrom (however you spell it) every time I go to WDW.

Do you take along any guide books? Someone asked me the other day why I still buy them (with this being my 17th trip) and I never know what to tell them. I guess they just help get me excited. And there's always new rides I haven't been on yet. I'm excited to try EE and the Nemo/Crush stuff in Epcot! Is the Nemo show (I think it's in AK) good?

How long would you say it took your mom to get back to normal after the knee replacements? Was it just one knee or both?

My mom had double knee replacement surgery in October and still isn't 100%. i'm worried abotu her walking around the parks - more so just standing waiting in ride lines.

It was just one knee - but it took her probably 1-2 months to get range of motion. She still has trouble getting up and down, but she's able to do shopping sprees with my aunts and exercise. Are you hitting all the parks, Kat? And I can't remember - how many days will you be there?
Also, I was over on the Best footwear thread - do you own crocs? I'm thinking about checking into them - I have a really narrow foot and flat arches - would I be a good match for them?

Not the longest dancing that would be me. I have to wait until July 08. and that is if then.
Have faith Susan! Disney will waiting eagerly for you. I hope your DD is better soon!

I'm never disappointed at WDW - there's always something to do!
I never take the guide books anymore - I used to when the kids were little. Now we just take it as it comes - do what we do and enjoy ourselves. Dave doesn't even like the fact that we have ADR's, but I know that they're necessary.

I take a passporter along, and I make a binder. In it I have our hotel ressies en route, shopping locations around the parks, tips/suggestions of things to do w/ the kiddos, menus from allearsnet of our dining ADR's, stuff like that.
It gets pretty full.:o And the Nemo show is wonderful! :sohappy:

We're staying six nights and have a 7-day hopper. I'm so excited! We'll definitely got to all the parks - we usually are find with just a half day at MGM though... I don't know why but I think it's my least favorite park.

I do own crocs. I use them around the yard and stuff and sometimes when I need to run to the grocery store. But to be honest, I don't think they're THAT comfortable. Maybe I haven't given them a chance yet b/c I don't wear them for long periods of time. I just can't get over the uncomfortableness of those bumps that touch the sole of your foot. But I work in a hospital and the nurses swear by them! And they're on their feet all day long...

I buy them also. My sister asks me the same questions and that is what I tell her. She just rolls her eyes. She looks like that except not blue.

I thought the show was really good. I wasn't sure about the exposed puppeteer.. I leaned over to DW and said.. do you think they we can see them?
