I'm planning on going the 3rd week of September...it'll just be my boyfriend and I...

So tell me your stories, give me your ideas...

I can't wait to hear them!!!

My girlfriend and I went on pretty much the same 4-night cruise in 2004, mid-September on the Disney Wonder. Well, at least, we were supposed to. Hurricane Francis put a damper on the trip (so to speak). So yes, be aware that you are going during HURRICANE SEASON!!!

We actually were on the 7-night land and sea package (3 WDW nights, 4 cruise nights), which may have saved our trip. Since we booked the trip as a package, when the hurricane hit, Disney took care of everything. They gave us extra nights at the hotel, extra park tickets, on-board credit, a discount on another cruise (which we took the next year), and they re-booked us on a modified Disney Magic 4-night cruise to Cozumel later that week. So, it all turned out great!

So, I do suggest booking as much as you can through Disney. You'll get a good price and be taken care of if problems like this arise. Have a great trip!
