So I was just watching a video of the new parade for Disneyland Paris 15th Birthday on dlrp.fr and right at the end of the parade on the back of the princess float is .... well, looks like Figment to me.

Granted the color is a little washed out, but it is a dull rainy day in France via a camcorder. If you bump up the color saturation a little the dragon is purple, pink and orange.... matches quite a lot a pictures of Figment I have seen and not really that much like the nasty green dragon under the castle.

So I guess no one shares what I think, which is okay, but just assume you wanted to make Figment look a little more real, you would add a little texture, add a few boney features possibly interpreting the lines you see on Figments horns and hands as various bone joints and well that is pretty much what you end up with.

I heard that figment was originally green, but than kodak thought he looked like a fujifilm advertisement rather than kodak.

I see what you're saying, but the thing about Figment is he DOESN'T look real. He's kinda cartoonish by nature.

My guess is that he's supposed to be an inside-joke version of Figment. In my opinion, he looks too much like the little purple guy to be a coincidence. However, he doesn't look exactly like Figment. I doubt many of the DLP guests would make the jump from this character to Figment. They probably needed a dragon for the float, and whoever was designing him was a Figment fan.
