We made a run out to the 'World yesterday and started our day in Epcot. It really wasn't anywhere near as crowed as I had feared. Sure, there was a lot of green yard beers, green shirts, silly beads/hats/buttons, but it was all good.

- They're gearing up for Flower and Garden Festival. You can see the areas around the lakes in Future World dotted with little marker flags and spray paint on the grass outlining where to plant. No patches of in-progress flowers yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon.

- They also have some walled off areas for F&GF like this one in Morocco:

- They're also setting up the Butterfly area:

- The train set in Germany had big signs saying it was not working at this time, however, about half of the trains were running and the other half were just dead on their tracks.

- On the fun side of things, the UK shops were handing out little mini buttons. I don't know how you found out about it. I just overheard a (very greedy) woman asking for multiples of each type the cashier in the Twinnings shop had. After she left, I asked the cashier if they were giving out the buttons and she said yes. So I got ONE from her and ONE from another cast member in the sports shop.

After Epcot, we drove over to MK, parked and hopped on the monorail. Holy cow! North Wing at the Contemporary is pretty much gone!!

It's quite shocking to see it like that. Very clearly visible for a good stretch (as you can see) from the monorail. Looks really weird.

Then we arrived in Magic Kingdom!

Center Street
has re-opened and so has The Market House as previously reported.

wdw-mar07h.jpg

And of course, Market House is the glass shop now. Definitely no party-line phone. :(

There's a wall between the Market House and the Bakery:

wdw-mar07k.jpg

On the other side in the Main Street Bakery, the area where the glass was, past the check-out is another big wall:

wdw-mar07l.jpg

There is a narrow bit of seating still back there though:

On the fun side of things, The Laugh Floor was open for previews!! I finally got to see it!

wdw-mar07n.jpg

(I thought it was pretty good. Sure, the jokes were corny, but the audience laughed. The technology was fantastic too. Words synced up to animations and everything. I think it's fun.)

Another rare opening was Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace.

wdw-mar07o.jpg

And people were eating...

wdw-mar07p.jpg

They had special signs up that said they were also offering California Rolls. (That's the blue sign on the register.)

D'oh! One too many images to show...one more tiny post next....

And last but not least, I know someone posted it awhile back, but in case you missed it, all the cups and napkins are Year of a Million Dreams theme now:

There. Now we're done. :D

Yes, I enjoyed some of that green beer at EPCOT yesterday, so fun.

We tried to go to Raglan Road, quickly turned around and went home! It was PACKED.

FYI, Credit Card machines at the Margarita stand were down in Mexico yesterday... A lot of people had to skip it in their quest to "go around the world."

Thanks for the update. I was there yesterday. Am I the only one that finds it weird that the glass shop is the only shop that doesn't walk through to the next shop?

Cool pics. Thanks for the update.

I love those free button pins they gave out. I wish I could have gotten some because I usually go around St. Patrick's Day. Oh well...maybe next year. :)

I'm sure it will, eventually. Now that the glass shop is open in its new location, they have to take out the counters, etc in the old lcoation and turn it into seating for the Bakery. That wall is most likely just a themed temporary fill-in in the archway.
In the photo after it, the tiny seating area shown is the old seating area at the back of the glass shop, with the front of the shop walled off.

The Tomorrowland Terrace is the restaurant that connects Main Street with Tomorrowland. The original Tomorrowland Terrace is now Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. The current Tomorrowland Terrace/Noodle Station is usually closed, Cosmic Ray's is almost always open.

We literally just walked right in. In fact, we had to run through the weaving queue because they were getting ready to close the doors into the holding room. It was then just a couple minutes before a little intro video played explaining how they were brining YOU into the monster world instead of the other way around to harness the energy in laughter. The doors opened and we all took a seat on the rows of benches. (Think more like Tough to Be a Bug than something like Philharmagic.)

The sign was posted 20 minute wait but later only 10. That's probably like Philharmagic where so long as you make the next show, your wait time just for the current show to conclude.

WOW!!! I can't believe people were actually in line to eat at the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace. I don't think I have ever seen anyone eating there much less, having lines backed up!
