Some Disney Cruise Line questions

I was tempted to be unfaithful to Steve and ask these at the "Dis" since they have so many cruise experts over there, but loyalty overcame me and hopefully someone here can help before I go there. :lookaroun

1. If the free dining returns this year and I'm on a land & sea package, will they let me add the free dining credits to my ticket/key/thing? And even if it doesn't come back, can I still get the dining plan?

2. The last Disney Cruise I took (over 7 years ago) we relied on Disney for transportation and they took care of our bags. This time we'll be driving. So what will the situation be with our luggage? Do we "check" it at Port Canaveral and they'll bring it to our stateroom from there? Or do we lug it all onboard with us?

I thought I had another question too, but now I can't think of it.

1- Although I do not know the offical answer, you should be able to add DDP to your WDW Stay. It will be included on your Key to the World Card.

2- When approaching Port Canaveral you will pull up to a curb and unload your luggage. At that point, it will be checked. Keep your carry-on bag with you. After parking the car, you'll procede with check-in, security, etc., and the luggage you dropped will be delivered to your stateroom sometime before dinner, unless there is a problem with a suitcase, or something like that.

you are not able to add any dining plan if your booking thru disney crusie website. you have to book your cruise and your land part seperate. so if you did book your land thru disneyworld.com then you can. that is the only down fall i see when doing a land/sea package.
