oooh that's the fun part. :) Second Trimester you have this great burst of energy, your body's adjusted to the hormones so you're no longer sick... and everything seems alive and wonderful...

In comes Third Trimester when you have a foot in your rib cage... and an elbow on your bladder. And you walk like a duck... and you're tired ALL the time. The last 3 months feel twice as long as the first 6.
Both kids were 10 days late - that last 2 weeks was definitely the pits!

If you're not careful, I may not even tell you people the name! Mwuhahahah!

:drevil:

I saw what happened the other day - I'm not naming my kid Beetleguise!

What? But Brutus Beetleguise is such a good strong name! :lookaroun

But then you get to see things like feet!

Yeah... through the outside of your skin. Lizzy would kick so hard you could see a little foot print on my tummy.

Seriously, what's up with that??? I tried on ALL my pairs of jeans this morning for casual Friday... NONE fit.

Little trick: Leave your jeans unbuttoned and run a rubber band around the button, through the button whole and back around the button. Buys you an extra 2 months with your jeans and plenty of stretching room. ;)

Yeah, but at least you have a good reason, Bunny. All elastic jeans become your friends......

I'm in track pants today.. that's all that fits these days... I REALLY need to do some shopping.

I'm hoping for an August 30th delivery.. that way the poor kiddo won't be a year of school behind it's cousin. That would stink! Being only 3 1/2 months apart but a whole year of school behind...

awww that's baby book material! (Speaking of... you need to get a baby book soon and start logging things!)

I tried the rubber band thing, but two problems - #1 Marc won't let me out of the house like that. He's the world's most modest person and he's petrified someone could see something. And #2 - many of my shirts won't cover the opening up... they're designed to be tucked in, or they're just not long enough.

Joel was still kicking me while I was in labor with him. The first time DH saw Abby move, she kind of rolled from one side to another, which he said looked surreal (Alien, anyone?). She rolled, but Joel kicked - ALOT!

My kids both would wait til I lay down at night, then they'd play "Let's keep Mom awake!'
Come to think of it, they still do....

You'll laugh when your weight gain suddenly starts multiplying much faster than that little person... "He only weighs about 5 ounces?! How in the world have I gained 15 lbs already then?!"
Yeah...Maggie weighed less then a pound....I weighed 200+...

and she was 3 months early..

Damn fluid:fork:

Oh dear... 10 days?! Lizzy was 3 days late and I must have walked 30 miles at the mall during those 3 days trying to get my labor to hurry up. I was in labor for 3 days! (nothing incredibly painful, just very slow contractions) and people would laugh when i went into the office to get some last minute work done and would ask me how i was feeling: "oh i'm in labor but I wanted to get this finished up" Insert dropped jaws.

 Oh, I had lots of long shirts I wore so you never could have seen anything. Then I guess you need to get in some shopping! (If y'all have a Motherhood Maternity close by that's a great place to start out - their prices are much less than alot of maternity stores... and they have great sale racks!)

I just realized... sprout and lizzy could have the same birthday! (8/29) Crazy!

Lizzy was a roller, a kicker, a soccer player and a bit of a baseball player all thrown in. :lookaroun

I am such a wuss when it comes to pain...I have no idea how I'm going to handle labor when I have kids   :(
Aww..Suck it up.....:lookaroun

I had a c section and the epidural did not work...I felt the whole thing..
Kinda shocked the Dr when he told me once you can feel your feet you can go see her...and I said..WHAT?..I can could feel the whole time and started kicking.......
