She wasn't a happy camper.
Her usual sitter, the neighbor across the hall, is a sweet girl whom Joey loves.
But she's in Italy right now. So, my friend Laurie, with whom Joey likes to play rough. . .when I'm in the room. . .took over. Joey completely ignored her and hid under my bed covers whenever Laurie came in. I guess she really wanted cuddles, not rough play. She gave me the cold shoulder for a few minutes after I got home. But I woke up in the middle of the night to find her head resting on my cheek. She forgives quickly.
