Actually, real skunk smells just like a combo of strong coffee and onions! :lol:

We had a real skunk spray our cat once. :hurl: nobody knew until the next morning when we woke up with the cat sitting in the den by the fireplace - our entire house smelled like skunk. It was awful. Even our clothes and towels smelled like it... mom had to bleach the whole house and even that didn't work well. :lol:

We had a huge group of them traveling together on our property one summer. I counted 10 before I ran away. :lookaroun
And some were really weird looking.
Their colors were reversed - mostly white with a black stripe.
Creepy.

We've had skunks before, couple of years ago, and it was much worse then, because it was their mating season. So, they spray to attract each other, and the smell was everywhere! :hurl: I hated going somewhere and then coming home and that smell just HITTING you. So, for us, Figment brought back bad memories :lol: ....or else it was a premonition :lookaroun .....

We get large groups of deer that come through here...usually does. One time our ground was covered with acorns, so we had a deer feeding frenzy, about 11 or 12 of them.

It's awesome when nature just pops up on you like that.
Especially living in a big city . . .even skunks are a sight to us!
