Hello all and welcome back to yet another update.
My friend and I were at the local mall, and were bored with the same old regular stuff, so we decided to drive over and have a look around Downtown Disney, and maybe a resort.
Downtown Disney
-There is now a Disney Mobile Kiosk outside the Team Disney Building.
-Christmas decorations are still up and the HORRID Disney Princess Christmas Album is still playing in the marketplace.
-The Build your own lightsaber feature in once upon a toy is ok, but not really as creative as the Mr. Potato Head. There aren't many options, and assembly is a bit tricky, with loads of instructions. It might be better if they put an instructional video on those screens instead of Star Wars Clips.:zipit:
-The Giant Life Spinner has been moved, probably old news, but I just noticed. It is now in the DVD/CD/Book room of Once Upon a Toy.
-
It is with great joy that I can finally say Pleasure Island is completed! Although it's not 100% Done, it done enough so the guest doesn't fell like they're in a construction zone. All rehab walls are down, the old bridge is out, the new bridge is up. The New Boat Dock is up and accepting guests. It's located between Adventurer's and The Rock and Roll beach Club. There are new handrails and switchbacks for every club (exept adventurer's). It looks very good!
-There is now a Downtown Disney boat (like the pontoons that run to the hotels) that brings you from the Marketplace Dock to the West Side and Pleasure Island Docks. The Resort Boat continues to dock at Marketplace, and may possibly include Pleasure Island as there are 2 lines setup on the new dock, and only 1 in use.
Disney's Polynesian Resort
-The New Captain Cooks is awesome! Although they were a bit confused on my order, they seemed to have everything under control. The Computers are a bit annoying, but manageable. The Indoor seating areas aren't huge, but there is still ample outdoor areas which are quite nice.
This and That
-The new Hess Station is pretty cool, although the pumps are kinda odd.
-Magic Kingdom's lot seemed pretty busy, as they filled the west lots and managed to fill Minnie and a small part of Grumpy.
That's all for now, ask any questions should you have them. Sorry I don't have pictures, I forgot my camera (pretty spur of the moment trip). I'll be Staying at Ft. Wilderness this weekend, and I'll be back Sunday with a big Update, so stayed tuned! Until then, Hope you are enjoying 2007, and See you at the World!
