Physical Location of Imagineers

Where are they located at WDW? Are there seperate locations for each park? I know the maintenance side of things are located under Main St.

I love the basic building on I-4 that houses the engineers for Universal Orlando. When I drive past it, I always wonder what they're thinking up next.

I'm pretty sure that WDW Imagineering is located at the Disney Studios in Burbank, CA.

I was interested in a career with WDI, but I'm really not into the idea of living in SoCal!

I believe Imagineering has what amounts to a construction trailer backstage at EPCOT... somewhere near Test Track, I believe.

WDI has a trailer in each WDW park. Their main area in Florida, however, is a building backstage at Epcot.

HQ is in Glendale, CA, but they have field offices at Epcot and MGM.

There are three main areas for imagineering. Headquaters is in Glendale, CA. But there is also one in Anehiem, CA and Orlando, FL.

The Imagineering spot at Epcot is actually behind Wonders of Life. The normal employee entrance at Epcot is between Test Track and Mexico, so it's not a far walk from there.

At MGM, the WDI building is behind Hollywood Boulevard on the left side (goin towards Tower of Terror. If any CM knows where Take 5 is, it's right in that area. I wish I would have known all of this when I worked there, I just now checked my Cast Atlas when I read this thread. I must have walked by that building at MGM a hundred times a day and never stopped in.

Excellent info. Thanks. Now that you mention it, I have seen maps that show the building at EPCOT. Didn't know about the one at MGM.
