The nerve!
Hi everyone!
I feel like I can never stay more than a couple of minutes any more. So I worked today at 12...they let me leave at 6 (instead of 7) so that I could come in and help with a floor change tonight. .....looks like another long night for meWe hired a lot of new people but a lot of them called off tonight so they were going to be really short handed, so I said I would help out.
I asked DH why my mom had to raise me to be a hard working, good person......darn her and her good ways :lol:
But it is good to know that other parents did raise their kids right.:lol: :sohappy:
But it sure can get annoying being a hard worker.:zipit:

With all my griping about getting up at 4:00AM for my coffee schlepping job, I must say you should be proud of yourself! Oh and I forgot to congratulate you on your promotion! So . . . congratulations!!!! You earned it!

I'm a little worried about tonight. The nights last week that I worked they said that they expected to be out by 1-2am and we left between 5-6am......tonight they are predicting 4am, so I wonder what time it will really be.

I definetly would not be a happy person if I had to get up at 4:00am. I lay awake for so long on most nights that it doesn't bother me that much to be there until 12-1am because I would probably be awake anyway...I just can't do the overnight stuff on a regular basis.

I'm going to be a temporary part of the management team....my promotion will end after the holiday season and the big sale in January. The store manager told me how she thinks that I can really progress in the company....I just didn't mention to her that as soon as I pass my PA boards I will be out of there very quickly!
