I think that's partly true. But I think it's escalated, and continues to do so. I do believe that we shouldn't be afraid to live. Nothing should keep us from that. But it's one thing to say that and quite another to allow your child to fly half-way around the world. I really don't know what I'd do. George would probably want to let them go. He's the one who made us all go to NYC days after the 9-11. He definitely thinks we should just live and not worry about what might happen. He's not a mom though.
I know.
But... I want to go halfway around the world.
I want out of here for a while.:lookaroun
At least somebody understands you.
It's nice.
The voices keep me company. :)

No doubt you could use the break.
Maybe you could present the Egypt trip to your parents and while they're reeling over the cost of that trip, you could then tell them how much they'd be saving by sending you to Spain instead. Yes? No. . .no, probably not.

I'm sure everything will be fine, but Susan, if you feel uncomfortable, drive by later and check it out. If you don't like the look of things, bring her home. She'll get over it.

Egypt is [tenatively] cheaper.:lookaroun
And I want both! :lookaroun

Egypt's cheaper? Then you could just flip-flop my plan. Forget it. It wouldn't work anyway. And you want both. Well. . .good luck with that. :)

At least in the unlikely event they would even allow a trip to Egypt, I would have over a year to raise the money. :lookaroun
