oh...poor connor...trips like that are so fun. I didn't go that far, but one of my friends did. He went all over Europe.
"Poor Connor" is a very accurate description. :lookaroun
Egypt wow! I would love to go there.
But in today's world I'd be hesitant to let you go too, if I were your parent.
I know... and the fact that we'd have our own security guards would probably make it worse.*:lookaroun

*As far as convincing anyone it was safe

Hi Jenny. I am Susan.

Now I need to go. DD is going to a slumber party. 1st one ever. I need to go meet the parents.
aw...good luck susan...it'll all be ok. She'll stay up all night tonight and then, she'll want to sleep tomorrow afternoon!

But I know it will all be fine.

I don't hate it...:lookaroun

 :lookaroun

No... half of it is a backup of newsletters from this week.
The other half is from school.
:brick:

EDIT: and one from me. :lookaroun

I always have a boatload of newsletters too. I keep them for a while, then soon as I get rid of them, I need something from them. Never fails!

You sent yourself an email?
I hope you were nice to you.

Mr. F says that if we were to go, our group would be assigned our own security guards for safety precaution...

I'm glad I don't have to decide things like this for my girls at this time. I want them to really live and experience the world. But it's so scarey now!

It's always been that way...
We just didn't know it before.

I think that's partly true. But I think it's escalated, and continues to do so. I do believe that we shouldn't be afraid to live. Nothing should keep us from that. But it's one thing to say that and quite another to allow your child to fly half-way around the world. I really don't know what I'd do. George would probably want to let them go. He's the one who made us all go to NYC days after the 9-11. He definitely thinks we should just live and not worry about what might happen. He's not a mom though.
