The girls and I were just talking about the dreaded "Basement Cleaning Days" when we lived in our house, and before we finished the basement and turned it into a family room. It was just for storage then, and tended to fill up with junk quickly. Every so often, George would decide today's the day, and the 4 of us would go down and tackle it. We hated it! But it was one of those jobs that just had to be done.

We haven't had one of those days in a long time! There are places that you can't even walk through now. Time to throw it all out!!!!

Hey everyone!

So I got about 4 hours of sleep before the kitty thought that it was time for me to wake up.

Yes I do work at Bath and Body...I am working for the store that is projected to be the number 1 store in the company, so we get visits from big important people quite freqently. Two VPs were there about 1-2 weeks ago and decided that they wanted some of the walls in the store to change. Well we found out that they will be coming back tomorrow and expect to see the changes in effect. So I spent all day Tues moving things around (lots of heavy lifting and moving) and all night last night setting up some new things and fixing some other things. I'm hoping that they get a lot done today so that I don't have to go in again tonight.

One of the problems last night is that a lot of the people that I was working with took frequent breaks and really didn't do a whole lot of work. In the whole 9.5 hours that I was there...I sat down for 10 min because my manager told me to. I am a go, go, go kind of person when I'm at work and I just want to get it all done quickly and not waste a lot of time. I was pretty frustrated by all the people who were so lazy...but oh well, what can you do about it.

So anyway, enough about me....how is everyone else doing?

Funny how, once we finished the family room and no longer had the room to store junk, we didn't miss the junk at all. I don't even remember what it all was!

Wow...there seems to be a lot of cleaning going on in here!

It was raining when I left work this morning, but it is sunny and nice now. I have the windows open again. I really like fall days like this, just a little bit chilly but not so much that you need a jacket.

Wow I had no idea a job at Bath & Body could be so demanding. I'm like you when it comes to working and not wasting time. I hardly have time for a quick sip of a drink while I work. Other people are running out for smoking breaks every few minutes. Very frustrating. But, I try not to let it get to me.
Anyway. . .I'm fine and I'm glad you're here! :kiss:

That really stinks that you had to stay that long when other people were not working! I hate when that happens, but tunfortunately there's a lot of that in this world!

On the plus side, I have a clean house.......pretty much.

It is a lot more demanding than I ever thought it would be. Everything has to be placed in just exactly the right place.
