Anyone know a little about Disneyshopping.com?

About 2 months ago I ordered the Walt Disney Hyperion Studio Illuminated Sign from disneyshopping.com. I am now on my second one since the first didnt light up at all and the second only lights up half the sign. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should do about this. I really want the sign but I cant keep getting damaged ones.

There are really only 3 things you can do. One is to keep sending it back the second would be to get a refund and the last is to crack the thing open and fix it yourself. The problem with your last option is that you will void any warranty you have by doing this. Dissneyshopping has really good customer service and they will work with you in order to fix the problem.

Yea I probably will try it again, do you know the number for the suctomer service. Last time I had used the contact email on the website and I deleted the last number by accident. Thanks for your help!

At least you're not alone -- my sign was all farked up, too. Mine was not only "half-lit", but you could see one of the lightbulbs dangling inside, and the frame was cracked. I'm waiting for an email back before I mail it off to them.

It actually sounds to me like the crate they arrived in (at the warehouse) was dropped or something.

Thanks for your help, I talked to a customer service rep. and they are "hand picking" (we'll see) a new item for me so this will be my third. I will keep you posted to give disneyshopping praise or rip them a new one....:king:

Not bad. After a 22:37 hold, I got on the phone with a rep. They're sending me another sign (I requested they check it for quality before sending). They're also mailing me out a pre-paid shipping label to send the other one back -- a much better option that the suggestion on the packing slip, which was basically "just mail it back and hope for the best."

Curious, what sign or item are you returning. It just so happens that I am sending back a sign type item as well. The vintage collection Hyperion sign

Same thing; same problems as yours, except my frame was also cracked and the lighting unit behind "Walt" not only didn't light, but also was dangling inside the sign. Makes me think they dropped a whole crate of these things.

They must have, both of the ones i received had the lights dangling inside the box. My guess is that the dangling is part of the problem and it somehow damages the bulbs. As for the cracked frame, your guess is as good as mine.
