Help! Need Information on Cast Deployment Internship!

Hey! Has anyone participated in the Cast Deployment Internship? If so, could you give me a brief job description? Looking for any information possible...Thanks!

Also, if you are unable to accept the internship for whatever reason, does this ruin your chances for an internship in the future?

To answer your second question, no it would not ruin chances for a future internship. As for the first one, that's how I started with Disney CDS was brand spanking new when I did my internship as a Deployment Assistant. A lot has changed since then, but I'm able to pop my head into labor meetings every once in a while. Essentially the internship can differ based upon where you do deployment. If you do it at a place like Magic Kingdom, you'll have much less Cast Contact than in a place like the World of Disney. It's really difficult to describe the role because it's so different in each location, but basically you're going to be shifting workload where it's needed. Checking up on break times, making sure they're not too late or too early, ect. You could also (depending on where you work) mark record cards, take cast call-ins, and more. But overall you'll be tied to a computer assisting management teams with their workload. Goodluck!
