just how wet do you get on these rides? do you wear a swimsuit on it? can i ride without a shirt?

just thinking about how i don't want to walk around mk soaking wet all day. i'm thinking that we'll probably bring along a change of shirt for everybody to leave in a locker, but i'd appreciate any suggestions.

thanks!

Big thunder you don't get wet on it. Splash it depends on where you are sit in the log. You don't get soaked like in it is raining cats and dogs down here. You don't need to get your swimsuit to ride the ride.

Shirt and shoes MUST be worn at all times. Disney is VERY strict on that rule.

You normally don't get very wet at all, take a look at the folks getting out of line for a good idea.

YOU NEVER get wet on Thunder Mountain. Maybe you go through some mist, but it's not wetness.

a change is a good idea, keep in mind Disney controls how wet each boat gets, and if your visiting in the colder months, you porbally can count on a pretty dry experiance on Splash.

I actually got a bit wet last time on Thunder mountain. The waterfall on the first incline was having an off day I guess and dribbling on the cars.

You can get wet on Splash Mountain, NOT on Big Thunder Mountan.

I have worn a bathing suit, t-shirt and flip-flops to Animal Kingdom to ride Kali River Rapids first thing in the morning, and then changed into other clothes for the rest of the day. But Kali is the only ride (outside the water parks) where you can really get soaked!

I was surprised they didn't have the water at Splash turned up more when we were there Aug. 17-25. We got much wetter in September in previous years than we did in August this trip. If you want to get really wet, and see people shirtless or in swim suits, do Kali at AK.

You can get wet on Splash mountain - but like others said it depends on where you're sitting. But I would recommend, avoid wearing jeans on splash mountain -- because wet jeans don't make for a fun day in the parks!

But if you really hate getting wet, if you own a parka, you can always wear one on the ride.

It definitely depends on where you're sitting when you ride Splash Mountain. I've been absolutely soaked on that ride on occasion, but it's not the drop hill that gets you. At the beginning of the ride, as you're going around the drop hill/briar patch out front, a water cannon sometimes lets loose when a boat goes down the hill. If you happen to be sitting in the spot where that water lands - drench city.
