Absolutely!
We always "redo" Thanksgiving dinner on the following Sunday. We just reheat all the leftovers! So much better the second time around! :slurp:

the following Sunday? the food would never last that long in our house... Our 1 o'clock Thanksgiving meal is followed closely with the 7pm showing of chevy chase Christmas Vacation with leftover turkey (which we make into sandwhiches) and all the trimmings. We have it all polished off before we go to bed... :D

We usally go to my mom and dads on Wed night and stay though Sunday morning. We eat turkey and grilled sausage and snack on pies all weekend. By the time I get home I gained about 10 lbs. We do go for walks around their 10 acres.:sohappy:

We walk a lot after thanksgiving.... in the malls

Last year was kinda weird for my family since it was the first holiday season after we got married. Both sides wanted us at thanksgiving - so we just had both sides over to our house! I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I had only been cooking for 4 months and I was going to hold thanksgiving? :p

Ah.. Christmas Vacation... that's one of our dozen or so required viewings between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Along with Toys, A Christmas Story, Scrooged, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, White Christmas...

Wow! That's some eatin'!
We have a 2:00 dinner so the girls can go to a second dinner with their boys later in the day. George may have a sandwich (or 2 or 3 :lookaroun ) but there's always plenty left for Sunday!
Love "Christmas Vacation", btw!
That is a must watch along with "It's a Wonderful Life" every holiday season!

I know, it's funny because every one kept saying how big it was with the forums, I knew how much bigger it really was. I have almost all the navigation, titles, themeing, etc. done, so now I can really work on the content.
