How late before/after park closing does guest services outside of the park close?

I have the vouchers for our Season passes but haven't gotten them validated. We booked our next stay under the passholder special rate and need them validated BEFORE we check-in. Looking at the times the parks close the day we are arriving, I don't know how early we will be able to make it into Orlando that day! It all depends on when Guest Services at the parks close.

SO, if we cannot possibly get our passes validated, will the special rate be removed for the first night or all of the nights we are there? UGH! so stressful!

I would imagine if you show them your voucher when you check-in, that would be enough, if you explain that you couldn't get to the park, but will be getting it done the next day:wave:

To answer your first question, The Guest Relations Windows at the Theme Parks remain open 1 full hour after the official Park closing time.

However, since you have your exchange vouchers in hand and are arriving late, you will be allowed to check-in using your voucher, and may be asked to simply show your activated pass the following day. You will not lose any discount offer you already have booked unless you do not activate your voucher within 24 hours of check-in.

You'll be cool with just the vouchers, IF they even check when you check in.

The Resorts do have the ability (but not always the time) to verify that the lead Guest on a reservation is an active Annual Passholder, and may flag your reservation as such. This is why Guests are sometimes not asked to show their activated annual pass upon arrival.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I had already emailed Disney and asked them about all of this and they had said i MUST have them activated at check-in. I guess we'll attempt to check-in as soon as we get in no matter what. If it's early enough we'll go get them validated.

YIKES!!! I think I have the same problem then. I didn't know it would be a problem though. I have an exchange voucher for an AP but I don't have it activated yet either. I reserved the room with the AP rate. Our flight doesn't arrive until midnight which means we won't be getting to the resort until around 1AM. Kinda scared now because I leave in 6 days.

Another option...

Last year, we activated our AP's at Guest Services in Down Town Disney. Took all of 5 minutes for 4 passes...no line at all. They were open until 11:00 PM the friday before Thanksgiving.

I had an AP from 4/05 till 4/06. I stayed at a WDW resort 6 times during that year. I was never once asked for proof of my AP. Good luck and I hope you have a great trip!

I have to agree...I've had an AP (or seasonal) for going on 8+ years and have never once been asked to show it upon checkin.

Whoops, my bad. Sorry, I just checked from the Birnbaum book. I'm glad you caught that!:D I would've have sent her in the wrong direction in the middle of the night.
