Paycheck help

Alrighty, I'm sitting here with 2 paychecks in my hand. I have $17 in my bank account. I'm kind of lost on what to do. Can I go over to the Vista Credit Union and deposit my checks from there? Because the busses here at Vista don't go to Bank of America. Gah, I hate this.

Well I'm not a CM but I have spent some time working in banks....my thoughts would be that if your account is with bank of america then you need to go there to deposit your checks, or at least find an ATM that is capable of accepting deposits (some bank's ATMs will accept deposits even if it is not their account but others will not--generally it will take longer to post to your account if you do it this way). So I would say either find a bank of america or one of their ATMs.

you need a Vista (or other Credit Union) account to do it at a Vista Branch...

...the nearest B of A is in Celebration... if you haven't found a lift by then, PM me. I'm heading out to Celebration tomorrow afternoon and don't mind helping out.

yeah I would also say go direct deposit.

Now things might have changed from my CP, but I belive Publix will cash checks as well.

Hey everybody, thanks for the replies. Especially you, MKT, that was sweet of you to offer me a ride:) I have been informed that I can cash a check for $3 over at Walmart, which is what I figure I'll do (until I have my direct deposit set up!!)

The cast portal is the quickest method of setting up your direct deposit btw :)

You're welcome.

Perhaps I'll run into you next time I do divequest :)

Oooh, you're a divequest-er? I've always wanted to do that...Of course, I'd have to actually learn how to dive, which would take time and money that, working for Disney, I certainly don't have

I'm a former regular divequest-er, ever since I found out I went to High School with one of the Divemasters :D and their discount is considerably better than the regular discounts offered (AP, Disney Visa, WDW CM, etc)

I'm up to 6 dives there
