That was for the old resort. Surprisingly they haven’t released anything for Lakeshore, although it may borrow from this. Very few updates / press releases overall for a project that should be wrapping up relatively soon.
They kept the overall bldg design, only time will tell if interior design remained untouched or not

Judging by HauntedPirate's plans he's posted on this site, it surely feels nearly everything from the Reflections plan is carrying over to Lakeshore.

Although with all this inside info, I nominate HauntedPirate or Len Testa to replace Pocahontas as the lobby statue 😆

It shouldn’t look anything like Fort Wideness or Wilderness Lodge. It should look like Lakeshore Lodge. It should have its own style and aesthetic and be judged on its own merits.

It shouldn’t look anymore like Wilderness Lodge than the Grand Floridian looks like the Polynesian
True....but considering it is literally on top of Ft Wilderness they should have made it at least nod to that aesthetic....or move it farther away....at least far enough that it doesn't loom overtop of the Fort Wilderness Settlement.... and yes, the Poly Tower causes these same issues...

I don't think anyone is making a Native American-style argument that these are stolen lands from Ft. Wilderness. I'm simply stating that the big ugly building is making Ft. Wilderness (whatever remains of it) worse.
I make no judgements as to the look of Lakeside lodge, some will like it, some won't. But I agree not many people understand why they would position this much larger hotel of totally different theme wedged next to and towering over Pioneer hall. This is the strangest hotel decision ever at WDW. Just makes little sense. They should have at least rebuilt Pioneer hall further away and installed a berm and trees.
