2005 Disneyland. Just hanging out by the Sword in the Stone:I remember seeing a video showing Alice, The Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and the Queen of Hearts riding the tea cups in Fantasyland. In the video you can faintly hear the Hatter singing "The Unbirthday Song" in the distance. It gave me the biggest smile of my face. To a similar degree, when MSEP was running at Disneyland in the late 2010s, the White Rabbit had a brief interaction with guests who were riding the tea cups.
Glad Tokyo Disney Resort/OLC is keeping that leave of dedication alive.

What a pleasant surprise! Mickey hadn't wandered around MK (let alone meeting guests at Fantasyland) since the 70s and 80s. I still love this old homevideo recording where Mickey played with guests near the park's entrance.

Disneyland and WDW deal with different types of guests. Disneyland's always done it. WDW took it away back in the day after people caused issuesThis isn't already happening??? Every time I go to Disneyland I see Mickey and other characters out and about in the parks.
Why are the Florida parks so watered down? That's insane!Disneyland and WDW deal with different types of guests. Disneyland's always done it. WDW took it away back in the day after people caused issues
People that visit WDW are taking their once-in-a-lifetime trip and sometimes show a greater level of entitlement. Why are the Florida parks so watered down? That's insane!
