Imagineering Hall of Fame - Class of 2025

The Imagineering Hall of Fame was a concept designed back in 2013 to pay special tribute to the armchair Imagineers and their contributions to the Imagineering community over the years. Each fall, the Imagineering community nominates and votes in a class of Imagineers into the Hall of Fame.

The Nomination Process
The only requirement to be nominated is that the member has been an active contributor to the Imagineer forum and/or other Imagineering sites for at least 6 months - 1year.

Each person can nominate up to 2 members that they would like to see in the Hall of Fame by commenting on this thread below with their selections.

This process will continue until we reach up to the maximum of 10 nominations (this site's polling system has a maximum of 10 slots). If more than 10 members are nominated then there will be a preliminary vote to narrow it down to 10.

After the 10 nominees are finalized, the voting poll will be established, where you can vote for up to 5 members you'd like to see get into the Hall of Fame. Once the votes are in, the 5 highest voted members become the Imagineering Hall of Fame - Class of 2025! *If there is a tie for 5th, then additional members can be added.

Space's Special 20th Anniversary Surprise!

In light of this anniversary year of the imagineer forum - there will be 2 extra inductees to commemorate the 20 years of imagineering on the site (one for each decade). These inductees will be represented by two members who were nominated twice for the Hall of Fame over the course of its lifetime.

Congratulations to @WED99 and @Honey Bee (Rebooted) - you are inducted as members of the Imagineering Hall of Fame Class of 2021!

Unfortunately a lot is lost to time as they migrated to a now lost 3rd party site that they came together to create.

Another original imagineer from the early days of the forum who organized the forum's first large scale open brainstorm that quickly became one of the most viewed threads in the first five years of the forum and laid the ground work for large scale projects, brainstorms and team work that we often see today as through their projects they set off a chain reaction to keep the forum growing.

Created the first Imagineering competition - The Imagineer, on the forum, it ran for multiple seasons. The Imagineer had a point system, unique prompts and even a story line albeit all text. They laid the ground work for the original versions of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Imaginarium and One Sentence Competitions which all debuted on this forum after the Imagineer's third season on the forum. This also predates the League of Dreamers over from Visions Fantastic - @TheOriginalTiki and @JokersWild would this then predate SYWTBAI?

Regardless when speaking about this forum if @jdmdisney99 is the grandfather of the modern Imagineering competition with The Sorcerer's Apprentice on the forum, then it would make @MaterA113 the "first man" sort of speak.
