What the heck? I'm in!
Finding the right balance on detail is such a struggle. I feel your pain lol1. I'd have to say that would be the time I wrote out a script for the Beauty and the Beast show that was meant for Disneyland Paris, but never got built. It was for the first season of "What If...?" and I did so under the premise that the concept was revived for a new Animation Courtyard at Walt Disney Studios Paris. I love to write out scripts like this, and it was fun to use a "what could have been" concept that deeply intrigued me as a basis.
2. Knowing when to cut back on the details. I know that can be a burden at times.
3. What were your thoughts on Zootopia 2?
Hi everyone! This was the view you would see driving down Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, California back in the 1940s:

Here is a picture taken from roughly the same spot in the 1980s:

More recently, this would be the view along Kirman Rd in Orlando if you were driving down it back in 2019...

Sometimes life gives you lemons, other times life doesn't even do you the kindness of gifting citrus. Luckily, store bought is fine!
Universal turned this Kirkman Rd property into their own metaphorical orange grove and now we have something truly epic in that spot...
![]()
This story might seem very different from that of Disneyland's, but the core is the same. People coming together to create something amazing out of nothing but an empty field and a dream and millions of dollars. We're going beyond citrus fields this time because the sky's the limit!
So, let's carry that spirit of imagination with us as we shoot for the stars and continue what we started in Citrus Dreamin' with a new season of the Armchair Imagineering competition with the highest concentration of Vitamin C...
Welcome to Celestial Dreamin'

Pictured: An Imagineering Competition that promises to be the most epic journey across the cosmos to ever feature a chocolate teddy bear and a sentient piece of fruit.
My name is Pi, and I'll be your Skipper today.
Joining me is Quartermaster Tiki who will host the official companion podcast (Though Tiki has been given absolutely no information about the competition so that way if he plays he has no advantage).
Alongside us is First Mate Orange Bird (O.B.) keeping our moonship steady.
Finally, we'll also have Epic Universe's Captain Cacao sailing with us through the stars as our Navigator (His name is a misnomer, he really is canonically the navigator despite his name being "Captain").
Hopefully you'll be joining the journey as well!

This is going to be a very accessible armchair Imagineering game. With a bit more of a Universal focus as the main twist, but don't worry there will be plenty of opportunities to work with Disney Parks and beyond! Freedom to follow your passions and prompts that push you to find new fun ways to express yourself are the name of the game here.
If you played in the original Citrus Dreamin' back in Spring of 2024, then this should all seem pretty familiar.
Almost like some sort of sequel/season 2 or something
This will be a Team Based Competition! With some loose Epic Universe/Sci-Fi theming, Captain Cacao and Orange Bird as our adorable and marketable mascots, and a light hearted irreverent comedic tone inspired by the Universal Parks, this game is sure to be a good time for all! The focus is on collaboration, brainstorming, creative writing, art, and presentation. Come up with an idea together and then communicate that in as fun and effective a way as you can!

Celestial Dreamin' will be divided into a series of Wondrous Galaxies. These will serve as "Acts" for the game, each with their own theme. These take the place of the "Rivers" from Season One. Maybe one Wondrous Galaxy will involve projects exclusively in Universal parks? Or perhaps one will involve a gimmick that changes an aspect of the gameplay? There's no way of knowing where the next warp star will take us!
The Imagineering Expeditions (our fancy names for the rounds/prompts) will generally take a week barring any unforeseen twists. Each Wondrous Galaxy will take players on 1-3 Expeditions (so, the acts will have about 3 rounds each, give or take). I'll give the teams an Imagineering challenge, and they'll propose their best ideas!
Expeditions will either end in a prize for the winning team or an elimination for the losing team. Beyond just regular eliminations, there is the possibility of team shuffling to balance them out or extra eliminations due to lack of activity or other issues. If possible, any shake ups to the teams not caused by eliminations will happen between Rivers. The prizes that can be won from non-elimination rounds will vary from very simple gags to things that might impact the next Expedition, so every round is important! Perhaps one might even win the coveted Golden Pizza Moon

Pictured: This, but Gold. Sorry if this is all too cheesey
There will be an ultimate winner and getting competitive is a part of the fun, but the focus is on growing as Imagineers, having a good time, and creating some really cool stuff! So, if anyone needs an extension for any of the Expeditions I am happy to work with you, just ask 24 Hours before the due date so that it's fair to the other team.
I want to try to foster an environment where everyone is welcome and comfortable being themselves and having fun! If any other players make you feel uncomfortable in any way let me know and I'll do what I can to make it right.
--When is the Game?--
Celestial Dreamin' will start on December 22nd, 2025!
Right at Midnight WDW Time (9 PM Disneyland Time)!
If there's any time zones you want included in due dates to make things more accessible let me know

If you're interested in playing then you're in the right spot! Just introduce yourself and answer these riddles three to sign up to play!
What Armchair Imagineering Project have you done that you think best shows off your talents? What do you hope to get better at during this game? Ask me a question. Any question. About the game, about life, about movies, my favorite color. Any question at allI'm not great at making riddles.
You can start signing up now. If you don't want to play but are interesting in helping with guest reviews that is also awesome just let me know!
Orange you glad you clicked on this thread?
1. I’ll shine a spotlight on the Bioshock HHN maze I worked on in Visions Fantastic, which was a pretty equal team effort, but I think it was a good example of my improved writing skills since I first joined the forums

1. My recent Disney’s Oceans Beyond fifth park project with the folks at Visions Fantastic is easily my all time favorite project! An absolute masterclass of design and combination of ideas that while got third place, will forever be the best in my heart

I wrote the answer on a piece of paper, folded it into an airplane, and threw it in your direction. Hopefully it makes it safely3. What’s your full legal government name? Also, last four of your social security? Mom’s maiden name? Street you grew up on? First pet’s name? Also credit card number for good measure.
I wish for more time to think3. You get a genie lamp and can get the usual 3 wishes with all rules (No love, no killing, no reviving, no more wishes than 3) What do you wish for?
Hype Tread is what keeps the Hype Tires from not getting enough Hype Traction on the Hype Roads3. What is a “Hype Tread” exactly? A really exciting tread, perhaps
As characters, I think that Nick Wilde has both a more interesting arc between films and is just more fun to watch. Both of them are pretty great though. Some of the better written Disney Animated characters in a while and some of the few leads to never feel like their personalities had to pass through several layers of focus groups to ensure they are #relatably adorkable the way a lot of disney leads feel3. Judy Hopps or Nick Wilde?there are no wrong answers

1. God I haven’t thought about them in a while (it's what being a college student does to you). It definitely would have to something recent as a lot of my early stuff is flawed. I’m just gonna put down a very original answer and say Disney's Oceans Beyond. It was very fun to work on and I really liked the lineup of lands (plus the graphics even though none of them were mine).[]I'm not great at making riddles.[/]

1. Nothing major yet, though I have come up with some creative ideas in the past, so hopefully I can get a personal favorite here!

I'd say Muppets Mountain (got to whip up some goofy sight gags and dialogue), the Hanna-Barbera crossover dark ride from our Seuss Landing/Toon Lagoon replacement or whatever that challenge was (I got to show off my knowledge of Hanna-Barbera), and... what challenge was it that let me design more mascots for Blizzard Beach?

Actually contributing, I suppose? I have a habit of going rounds without adding much to the project.

Happy to have you aboard if you join the voyage, but no hard feelings if you don't!I miss this place (technically I never left but still) it's good to be back. Cool to see this comp happen, it's even giving me some nostalgia.
now I don’t know if I’ll be playing or not but I’ll still be answering these questions just in case
1. God I haven’t thought about them in a while (it's what being a college student does to you). It definitely would have to something recent as a lot of my early stuff is flawed. I’m just gonna put down a very original answer and say Disney's Oceans Beyond. 2. Again I’m unsure if I’ll be playing or not but chiming in as it is what got me eliminated last time
3. I was gonna give you a quiz question from my psych exam but since the answer is probably on quizlet I’ll give you a different question: Is water wet?
Paranorman is probably one of my favorite underrated films that I'm sure there's at least a few people here who haven't seen it. Spirited Away is a great starting point for anyone who hasn't really tried any anime films before. Though of course there are so many incredible Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated films, the Lego films, some great Sony films, and a lot of other more mainstream ones ya'll probably already know! Really though my biggest thing I'd say people should "check out" is anything a bit outside their comfort zone. Trying something new is the only way to grow!1. Nothing major yet, though I have come up with some creative ideas in the past, so hopefully I can get a personal favorite here!
2. My teamwork skills. I really struggled with them during my time in Visions Fantastic, so I really hope I can get better with them.
3. What are some animated movies (Quality doesn’t matter) that people should definitely check out?
Oooooo controversial changes I defend? Definitely have a few. Getting rid of Splash Mountain was the right call. MuppetVision was a masterpiece but 30 years is long enough run for a 3D movie in a theme park and it was time to replace it. New Country Bears is better than the old one (though I do miss some of the darker humor, most of the old jokes were all the same "wow can't believe they said that in a theme park with a cartoon bear" shock humor whereas the new one has a more chaotic muppet style energy with more varied comedy styles). Building beyond Big Thunder without getting ride of most if not all of Rivers of America/TSI would have been a crowd flow nightmare and 2-3 new lands with huge expansion spaces is worth the loss of the rivers and TSI (assuming the Cars area/ride is visually pleasing from the outside).Sign me up chief
- I think this would have to be my Land and Sea Biodome pavilion for the finale of Fantasmic Journeys. It netted me second place overall and is my best work to date I think.
- I would love to not even get better at but learn period how to draw park maps.
- What is one controversial Disney Parks change or decision anywhere in the history of the parks that you think was actually a good idea and you’ll defend it?
No worries if you didn't do the riddles! They're more for fun than an actual rule. They do help with getting a feeling for the skillsets of players I'm less familiar with so I can better balance the teams, but that's not an issue with people I know like you!Sorry, didn't see the riddles...

My account number and SSN are both "01" as I invented banks. That's right, I am Jebediah Bank. Founder of bank. Named them after myselfDoh, why not. Aloha everyone, my name is Lord Fozzinator (but you already knew that).
- I would think either Magic Kingdom: A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow or Branmere, both for different reasons. MK is the pinnacle of my map-making so far and it took me months but god am I proud of it. Branmere for the writing. I had such a fun time writing for Branmere and it was a greatly detailed land.
- I would say either brainstorming or communication or filtering out ideas. My maps and writing are good right now but it’s really just those 3.
- What’s your bank account number, SNN, and expiration date. My intentions are completely non-mischievous. Just don’t check your bank account, money tends to disappear from time to time.

1. Probably The Story Source from the last Sorcerer’s Apprentice. It’s the only project that I’ve done literally everything I can for - music, design, a physical model, etc. This was the view you would see driving down Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, California back in the 1940s:

Blue Sky Studios' non-sequel output in general is great. Don't let the fact that it's been milked to the point of exhaustion scare you away from watching the first Ice Age.What are some animated movies (Quality doesn’t matter) that people should definitely check out?
