I had the opportunity to have British bacon but it looked like ham. Even after I found out about the difference, it still looked like ham. It was a holiday inn at the airport so that's probably why.

American bacon has no taste after frying. And without frying all the way, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Danish bacon is the best. Never known British bacon to look like ham . Guess you were mislead.

In hindsight, we didn't need to leave early... at least where I live nothing has happened. I like 30 miles away from where I work, so may it's doing something up there.

Here in NY, I just paid $2.95 a gallon at a Gulf station on my way home from work. Passed a Citgo in the next town that was charging $3.15.
