What a treat for those watching from their cars.
Isn't being in your vehicle, in public, filming is allowed ?

I'm not sure what Disney could realistically do about it, but a photo from your car is the same as a photo from the ground, so I would think they want neither. The signs also aren't on pathways or anything, there isn't really walking room in the area the signs are in.

Doesn't matter what they want. If I'm in my vehicle ( which may be filming car ride ) just because they post a sign that says they don't want photography and the train pulls across that gets captured by my camera, I'm breaking no laws.... Am I?

In that area you are on private property. That’s what technically makes it more than just signs.

I love the Buckeyes on those engines.
Obliviously, Walter and Roger no longer wear the Buckeye 3-inch 3 chime whistles. They're now equipped with the Baldwin and Crosby 5-inch 3 chime whistles, respectively. Lilly is the only one left to wear the Buckeye 3 inch.

Yeah I'm not much of a fan. I mean they're good sounding whistles but I can hear those at almost any railroad. The Buckeyes are nostalgic for me at WDW. Hopefully Lilly keeps hers.

Lilly and Roger's Buckeye whistles were no longer in their prime anymore. Walter's Buckeye whistle is the only one still in its prime.

Lilly's was last used in December 2023:

While Roger's last sounded in January 2014:

Like I said Lilly is now wearing Walter's old whistle:

I mean, if the area you're in has signs that prohibit any form of photography whether it be pictures or video, I dont think it matters what mode of transportation you're using. You could be in your own car, or on a Disney bus, or on a boat, a plane, a blimp, one of those motorized scooters Disney provides. If they don't want anything recorded, that's it lol.

Not that this isn't cool for people who are into trains...but for those of you who haven't driven back there, this person filmed between the "NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEOS" signs.
You’re not a real railfan if you haven’t been questioned for taking photos and videos of trains!!! (I’m not even making that up! It’s gotten way easier now that everyone films everything on phones!)

Well if it is a public roadway then that settles it. Doesn't matter what signage Disney puts up.
So is World Drive private or public? Anyone?
Dis isn't in any position anyway to enforce it, so commuters snap those photos!!!
