Next, you'll be telling me that the presence of ladders has no bearing on the pace of construction!!!
Sadly, ladders alone don’t accomplish much of anything. It’s only when they’re paired up with spades that anything happens.Next, you'll be telling me that the presence of ladders has no bearing on the pace of construction!!!
I’m just glad they are moving forward on this area. Dino land from the day it opened just seemed unfinished. Dinosaur was good but that boardwalk arcade games… no. Had a chance with that spinning mouse coaster but was not a great ride. Looking forward to the future hopefully some more attractions for AK.I think celebrating progress is okay and normal. Get a grip man.
I just wish they could finish it instead of just giving up and outright replacing it like they are doing.I’m just glad they are moving forward on this area. I definitely think there is a shot at that.Think at D23 we will hear if new nighttime show coming to Animal Kingdom? They really need to spread out crowds from Magic Kingdom after fireworks, overcrowding becoming a real issue...
This park definitely needs a night time show. That beautiful waterside theater they made demands it.I definitely think there is a shot at that.
I honestly still don’t know if AK will be ready for the standard 9 pm closings that the rest of the parks adhere to (at the minimum) after Tropical Americas.
What I’m hoping is they are wiling to create/produce a show they can run seasonally.
I wish they would invest in two holiday season shows, one at AK and one at Disney Springs. At the very least run on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays to take pressure off MK.
It’s the same reason over and over and over again. It’s not that Disney can’t afford to do it, it’s that they have no incentive to do it because it’s more profitable for them to keep operating expenses low while at the same time maintaining what they deem as an acceptable guest level. This park definitely needs a night time show. That beautiful waterside theater they made demands it.
Aside from this, if they really want to make this park a full day (for some people), Asia and Africa need more to do. Africa really has nothing from a ride perspective after dark and Asia relies primarily on some non-IP mountain in India or somewhere (- still one of the dumbest statements Iger ever made). I have seen some people online predict that more should allocated to this park after Tropical Americas, and they are correct. Africa should get a massive indoor people mover attraction, as should Asia. Heck, even Pandora could use one more attraction. If they are really serious about trying to draw more of the normie crowd to this park for a full day, this would, I think, equate much more to turbocharging this particular park.
As much as I love AK, I have it ranked 6th/dead-last in my domestic park rankings. Can’t compete without a nighttime show and daily closings mostly at 6 pm.DAK is quickly becoming my favorite Disney park in Florida.
Yeah, I get that.As much as I love AK, I have it ranked 6th/dead-last in my domestic park rankings. Can’t compete without a nighttime show and daily closings mostly at 6 pm.
With our luck, they'd probably bulldoze Kilimanjaro Safaris and put the massive indoor people mover attraction THERE.Africa should get a massive indoor people mover attraction, as should Asia.
And only use like 10% of the space for guests. With our luck, they'd probably bulldoze Kilimanjaro Safaris and put the massive indoor people mover attraction THERE.
I can not wait for the day they announce the removal of Kali River Rapids for a massive expansion in the back of AK and people start the #saveriverrapids and talk about how River Rapids is the best ride of all time. With our luck, they'd probably bulldoze Kilimanjaro Safaris and put the massive indoor people mover attraction THERE.
See, if it were an indoor PeopleMover, that might be something I'd get behind...With our luck, they'd probably bulldoze Kilimanjaro Safaris and put the massive indoor people mover attraction THERE.
I actually would not put it past them at this point. With our luck, they'd probably bulldoze Kilimanjaro Safaris and put the massive indoor people mover attraction THERE.
nah id prefer then take out the ride and use up all the land in the back for a new land in a fantasy springs like area so all the disney characters can exist without effecting the rhode area/rest of park. a similar issue disney sea had. and id add a jungle book ride next to the current Asia trek on the way to this new land. also for those question if they'd take out the safari, the safari has stuff rivers, muppets, and DinoLand rarely had, consistent hour plus waits and consistent mass people eating. they won't take it out but could see them making the front of it a tad smaller to fit a small lion king flat ride in Africa which would be a compromise I would be ok with.if they expaned krr and gave it a partial jungle book theme thatd be great
I'd be okay with them removing Kali River Rapids... if they replaced it with something that has to do with animals, unlike what they're doing with Dinoland. If it were replaced by a Moana land or a Wish land or something, I'd raise a fuss.I can not wait for the day they announce the removal of Kali River Rapids for a massive expansion in the back of AK and people start the #saveriverrapids and talk about how River Rapids is the best ride of all time.
