Gorgeous photos! I love visiting old mansions like that. The ones I've seen in person, are the ones in Newport, RI -- mansions from the Gilded Age.Anyone ever visit Nemours Estate Mansion in Wilmington Delaware? We are enjoying it today.
And of course it comes on a weekend, so we don't get a snow day. And it will kick off snowpants season for recess. We had some on Wednesday but in total got less than a half inch, can still see the grass easily. We will get maybe a little more tomorrow. But @PUSH will get the worst part of the storm for Wisconsin.
That's almost nothing to our sister from another mister @JenniferSWe have snow coming tonight through Sunday. I think our corner of the state is in the highest total range. I've heard so many forecasts, but I think it's supposed to be 9-12 inches.

), and we watched a WDW Christmas parade, while they helped us decorate our main tree…!!!

My BFF and I were kind of famous in our neighborhood for "doing stuff" together. You didn't really hear one of our names without the other attached. We weren't bad, just maybe a bit rowdy.OK, this one’s just too hilarious, and reminds me of some of my crazier, younger days…!!!!!

To the point where, when she had children (I have not been as fortunate) she named her oldest daughter after me, and her younger daughter after herself. So that "siobhan and maura" could continue to be a thing for another generation. Though they seem to be much better behaved than we were, yet perhaps more adventurous, since they both studied, lived, and worked abroad, which we never did.

I was confused at first but now I am like "how cool of an idea is this". I named my first son after my best friend we lost too young. Names mean something. Yours story may be the coolest I have ever heard. My BFF and I were kind of famous in our neighborhood for "doing stuff" together. You didn't really hear one of our names without the other attached. I have great neighbors. Tonight it was my turn. My doorbell was ringing over and over and my cameras had already told me someone was there, I pulled on sweats ( I don't sleep in much) and gun in hand I opened the door. It was my friend from 2 doors down. She told me I think Jim is dead. I I didn't know what to do, but I knew you would. She was in her nightgown and it was about 25F out. I invited her in and said stay here. I think she is 90 and Jim maybe 92?. I ran down to their house. Jim was indeed dead and had been for a while. No pulse, no breath and he was ice cold. I called my next door neighbor who is a Nashville fire Capt. Thank God he was off shift. He and he wife went to my house to look after June. I called 911 and waited. What a crap night. But she came to me for help. That meant something. And no I couldn't do anything. The fact she thought I could really meant something. If I remember correctly he had stage 4 colon cancer. If I make it to 92 I am good with that. I did really love Jim and in his younger days (80's) we watched a lot of football together.
