Hey hey hey - no disagreement, but let’s also acknowledge World of Motion, a spiritual successor to Pirates with all the wit and artistry of that classic ride.
I could never ever see anything ever dethroning World of Motion as my all-time #1 favorite ride ever/anywhere (just to be crystal clear).

NB: since Horizons & JII also closed, Haunted Mansion has been my favorite ride "still open."

It could legitimately do $2 billion.

That’s highly unlikely. Right now, the biggest movie with a Thanksgiving opening is Moana 2, which ended its theatrical run with $460M, according to BoxOfficeMojo.

And personally I don’t see the Zootopia franchise as having the same draw as Moana which had a better story, better songs, and overall better production.

Best Zootopia can hope for is edging out Toy Story 2 for third place behind Moana 2 and Frozen.

Just saw Zootopia 2. There were definitely scenes they copy + pasted animation for the show. Also they
Say the phrase Better Zoogether and reveal how Bellweather got out of jail for the show
.

It honestly gives the show the exact same problem as Bayou Adventure - Takes a fun world/movie and instead gives us the blandest version of it possible. Like there were a million different things they could have done for the show to improve it.

It's being projected to make $500 million in China within a few days of release, and $125-$200 million domestically. It'll hit a billion faster than Inside Out 2, and has a very good shot at $2 billion worldwide due to a fortunate release window.

If this had opened before Muppets closed, I wonder if the reaction to the closure would have been even more pronounced.
I got to enjoy WDW at it's 3-D heyday:
  • EPCOT: Captain EO (but imo unable to be enjoyable after 1993 at the latest ...nm all the other overwhelmingly cringeworthy "dated" elements.
  • Magic Kindgom: Magic Journeys (with "Working for Peanuts" in 3-D one of the best Donald Duck/Chip n' Dale offerings to date even if it wasn't also in 3-D). [But I admit Magic Journeys is best enjoyed by either being in the 1980s or being "high" (I've never been "high" for the record...it's just my impression lol)]
  • MGM: Muppetvision (still hoping this ultimately comes back in what is now the Villians building).
  • AK: It's tough to be a bug (my favorite memory was seeing my little brother going airborne in the finale lol)
Today: Zoogether and Pixar short "festival" *sigh again*

On the influencers to have them publicly attest how great each & every new or updated attraction is and how much better it is (even in the new B mode)…
"Here's $3000, Paging Mr Morrow. Pump the 💩 out of this new Zootopia attraction on your channel, and this new $30 cupcake we'll be releasing, and maybe someday we'll pay you like we pay MickeyViews and Jackie Super Enthused. But you'll never get Tim Tracker money unless you lose some weight.""

The BRAND NEW AA’s may only work in A mode for 90 days, but damnit, we’ll have AWESOME social media coverage!! After all, we only need to get the guests ONTO the property…once they’re here, who cares what works or doesn’t…

Yeah but that all depends on how strong it is. The biggest competition is Wicked, which is going to automatically get people back into the theater multiple times because it’s essentially a singalong for theater kids and their families.

Thus far, Zoo2opia looks like “just okay”.
Not great enough to hold peoples attention (like the first one), yet not awful to the point of being offensive like Disney’s Star Wars.
