MK Piston Peak and Villains Land Construction Thread

I’m trying to be optimistic but recent projects have me worried that this will be a letdown. I’m really hoping this is like Beak and Barrel in terms of execution , design and theming. They need a home run. They have had a lot of misfires lately.
Im hopeful just because of the pure amount of money they're spending and also bruce vaughn. not to mention josh wants to be eco

Just my thoughts.

1) Villains land will offer a table service restaurant so they can sell alcohol. Maybe a QS/snack in addition.
2) Something will be down for a major refurbishment post BTM and Buzz. It’s a small world? Space Mountain or Pirates?
They don't need a TS to sell alcohol, as evidenced by the two most recent bars on property.

I dont't see Piston Peak having anything more than a couple snack stands

But Villains could very easily have a QS, TS and a bar
I feel it would be a missed opportunity to not fully explore the villains settings with all these environments

Especially after seeing what they did with Beak and Barrel and HM Parlor
I could see them going big on a HM “estate” vibe and building out another offering on the left side of it. In my head they’re already gonna significantly redo the queue once they have access to the space where the river once was

I'm also thinking there will probably be a bar somewhere potentially, heck they could easily theme it to Yzma's lab or something like that.

A solid quick service is a must for a land like this, personally I'm hoping for maybe a good barbeque spot. From the site that should not be said, they just did a MK reimagine where they had a Greek Gyro restaraunt themed to Hades named "Zero to Gyro" which I think is a fun name for a greek place + it's also not food we currently have much of in WDW>
No offense intended, but this is exactly what I hope they do not do. I love a good pun as much as the next guy, but I would rather see restaurants and rides that lean more spooky/menacing than all tongue in cheek (aren’t we sooo funny?) silly naming conventions.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't want the place full of puns to the brim but some clever names + a few puns in my opinion wouldn't hurt, especially with someone like Hades

I’m not sure they will go with multiple lounges at this castle park. It’s why I’m not sure the Haunted Parlor is coming to Magic Kingdom. A Haunted Mansion table service maybe?

They will not want people to lounge hop. I think.

Do they need a home run? What replaced future world at EPCOT was a swing and a miss and folks (including me) keep showing up because, I just walk through that failed area to experience other things that still exist that I still enjoy.

Well this is just rude :(
imo#1: this would have been better done immediately before the demo phase....not immediately after :(

imo#2: they should un-frost them now that demo's done so people can get more and more excited as the area becomes more and more like the new land(s)

(to paraphrase #1 & #2:
Watching demo of something old (especially beloved, historical, etc): not fun.
Watching construction of something new and (potentially) exciting: fun!

(for example, it was fun & exciting to see the evolving construction of the-mountain-that-can-no-longer-be-named back in the very early '90s)

imo#3: frosted windows (presuming they were done to hide construction) will be a long-term distraction-away from what is otherwise one of the most beautiful spots in all of WDW (& now one of the last remaining of such spots).
