So again its all photo ops and nothing of interest? Bring back an old parade or a show in the fantasyland theater. Play Captain EO, Magic Journeys, or the Muppets 3D, put on the original Star Tours.

Bring back actual old food items. Not sure what Disneyland history has to do with Biria Tacos.

For sure they should play some of those classic 3D shows again. (Perhaps on rotation, at different showtimes throughout the day?) Muppet*Vision at DCA is a little harder due to the need for the audio-animatronic figures around the theatre to fully make sense. But the others I feel wouldn’t be as hard to bring back. And man, Magic Journeys. That would truly be amazing to see restored in 4K. None of us have seen that in high (let alone any decent) quality since the 80s. It deserves a reshowing for sure 👍🏻👍🏻 On top of it, with that, they could start replaying it at the Journey Into Imagination pavilion at EPCOT also.

See we're all on board. These after hours events are so lazy when literally we have screen based rides and shows that can come back with almost no work.

Most people myself included haven't even seen Magic Journeys in their lifetime. Even Honey I Shrunk the Audience would be a treat at this point.

No I heard they might play the PeopleMover soundtrack on Autopia and pass out souvenir blindfolds so guests can imagine riding them again.

It’ll be just like driving on the 405

I’m kidding of course. Disney would never give away anything for free.

Okay that's hilarious that they're using the Bug's Land prop that Ant-Man & The Wasp have carried around Avengers Campus for years to do a promo for a DL party nite! :D

Though I appreciate this nite is being inclusive of DCA contributions to the resort. If I thought the Mad T Party photo op was going to be actual cast appearances rather than a cardboard backdrop, I'd go.

They wouldn't hire/train/restore an old parade just for a few upcharge events.

But Star Tours is digital. It wouldn't be that hard to program in the OG for a bit.

Or the original Space Mountain music (from the '90s). Or Captain Eo. Or Honey I Shrunk the Audience.

Turn Fantasyland Theater back into Videopolis for a night.

Yeah, making one of the Star Tours theaters have a rotating pilot & film content (film content rotation is already possible). To switch between C-3PO with the new & Captain REX with the original ride film would be a great addition! And absolutely, the 90s music score for Space Mountain, yes!

Other resorts have done far more for upcharge nights, we've just gotten used to the bare minimum; I remember when HKDL for their Magic Access nights put on a whole AP-exclusive production in their Lion King theater complete with a special lighting rig (the show itself was only okay but an original 40 minute production for your pass holders was pretty cool!).

I'd love if we'd have gotten a "greatest hits" show on the Fantasyland stage: Mickey & the Magical Map, Animazement, Tale of the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, so many wonderful shows they could pull from. Wouldn't even have to have crazy production value, the screen backdrops would be fine + the costumes for Map and Lion King still exist in storage.

You're dreaming too big. They hate live entertainment now. At least they hate paying for it.

Return Pirates to the Pre Jack Sparrow condition. Make the pirates chase the women without food in their hands. Put all the missing pirates back. Remove Captain Jack. Put Red back to her original place.

Someone give it to me straight. Is this event worth it whatsoever if I have no interest in dance parties, photo backdrops or long lines for characters?

I’ve done Oogie Boogie Bash and enjoyed that for what it’s worth
