The customers are oblivious/demand less?Always wondered why Walt Disney World closes earlier than Disneyland. Any insider know? Was always curious about that
And it’s cheaper to run it that way?

Ordering food by the truckload is always a better dealMight be a side effect of DDP, where every restaurant needs to serve a similar list of things to satisfy guests looking for somewhere to use their dining credits wherever they can
The same thing that probably led to excess dining capacity at EPCOT now
Even if it was 11PM. And it didn't need to be everyday of the week. Fri/Saturday.I would kill for Epcot to be open until 2!
Which was what set wdw apart…What did they expect with prices so high? I know we have cut back substantially on the number of TS meals we have in a given trip.
Expect to see this same thing spread to many more TS…and QS locations property wide. Unprofitable services (breakfast/lunch/dinner) are being dropped.
Yet it’s still amazing that if I wanna get something to eat after 10 PM on property, I basically need to go off property.
I’m shocked it’s still open
Place is always empty…if it wasn’t “prominent”…I would guess it would be gone by now
Contrary to what Disney calls deluxe ---- it's not a deluxe resortDrives me insane not to have room service at a Deluxe resort.
Because they have been trained for meat and potatoes?I like it for what it is. I wonder why more people don't try it.
91% "thumbs up" on 268 reviews in the past 24 months, which is above average for WDW. People who try it like it.
It’s been hit or miss for a long time…It surprises me the amount of negative experiences others have had here apparently. Everytime I dined there with my family it was quite good. Maybe not a good as the other restaurants on property but I still enjoyed this one. Never had any lousy experience with the food there, say 2014-2018? Maybe that’s changed? If so, that bums me out.
You are 100% dead on with thisEpcot has a lot of problems, none of the recent changes have helped it they have only hurt it, d'amaro and company don't get it. So now they run the park like its going out of business, another dining location to take away and mark off the list. All of these locations use to thrive and be packed, you would think it would be a wake up call but they don't know how to run their parks anymore so here we go. More to follow no doubt. Sure the rotten dining plan has ruined so much but you also have things like minimum wage that keeps going up so now no one wants to hire or pay anyone to work, another topic for another thread really but all of that comes into play here. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these shuttered completely following in the footsteps of Morocco, sadly. They could make this location great again with good chefs and menu but they are rationing now like were going backwards. I think they have decided Epcot is too big to manage, run , and handle so keep cutting it off piece by piece. The park has been so damaged and dwindled down it probably has lost a lot of guests except when it comes to locals piling in for drinking time during food and wine. Just a few points to throw out there.
You are 100% dead on with this
They never liked the cost and see no value in it. It’s intrinsic value as making wdw a unique destination to generate the customer base was always more than the daily profits.
But you have a management that isn’t suited for parks. They don’t love them…they hate them and the people that populate them…so it’s just a “vessel” to do more techy showbizzy type things with the proceeds.
Notice how NOTHING is going on again? Even though they announced hastily throw together “expansions”?…which is only because they see their weakness and needed to act like they’re correcting them.
Nothing at Epcot…again

It’s why that classification has always been pathetic…to be honest.Drives me insane not to have room service at a Deluxe resort.
Found this gem at the beginning of October.Drives me insane not to have room service at a Deluxe resort.
That’s a good take…I put this on LL.
Contrary to what Disney believes, people only have so much money to spend on vacation. They are duping their customers into believing they need LL to enjoy the parks. One of the first things families are going to cut is a TS meal in exchange for a cheaper QS to be able to afford the LL.
Short term, these numbers look great. Selling air is more profitable than selling food. Long term, the suits fail to understand that the resort feel less "resorty" when you cant afford a nice meal at the end of your day which will lead to less satisfied customers and less repeat trips.
There are reasons attendance is down. This is one of them.
Exactly. Now let me say I think TS is a casualty for many things, rising gate prices, after hour events, parties, etc. However, I think LL is the main culprit. That’s a good take…
Lightning lane in many ways is robbing Peter to pay Paul…people cut out the TS restaurants to extract “the value” out of the over the top ticket and line fees…
It’s a casualty
Unfortunately for us: Disney likes this…because LL has almost no overhead costs
