Just got mine in the mail today. I like it, especially the stickers you can affix for upcoming trip(s), pass renewal, etc.

Better than another Mickey magnet I guess, but I wish it was something a bit less garish. Never been a fan of these designs for the characters, I'm surprised Disney is still pushing them.

Why would they do this?

At what cost would this be in total ?

Utterly ridiculous.
Oh, these came at a cost into the tens of millions. What they didn’t tell everyone - The calendars came with discount codes for AP renewals plus discounts for “Friends & Family” when they purchase an AP.

I’d just wished they would STOP using the Rudish/Mercury designs for these characters if they’re NEVER going to incorporate an severely underserved division of the company at their theme parks (Disney TV Animation), because I don’t get why the production of these shorts just stopped in 2023 (if they want to continue using those designs then I’d happily have them resume production on those shorts, if Disney can’t move on from these designs, it’d be more worth the effort than another season of that overhyped Proud Family revival that Mercury also worked on), I know they got a ride and ten years worth of award winning shorts for television

But honestly, DTVA has more than just those shorts (and their preschool content, plus Elena of Avalor being featured in the finale of the HEA fireworks since 2023 and is still out at the parks, and rare appearances by Phineas & Ferb, especially recently with their new episodes) as they have a bunch of characters and IPs that are just sitting there unused at the theme parks, waiting for that day to come, even though a lot of them have already been over for years now even if it can just be a one night ticketed event just to bring them out

They made some of the best content that the company has produced in the last few years, like Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Amphibia, The Ghost & Molly McGee (which Mercury Filmworks also animated that series) being fan favorites, and even stuff like Big City Greens and Kiff became top rated programs for TV that are popular with their age group.

I am just hoping when the new CEO comes in next year, one of their first duties as CEO is to potentially give these characters a chance at the parks and NOT have them be overshadowed anymore, and be in the same theme park as Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Darth Vader, Moana, Elsa, and many others

To thank Annual Passholders for loyalty.

They already get enough perks through the nonsensical 'AP for locals' to warrant any little 'thankyous'. If anything higher spending international tourists who have to put up with the crowding because of the 'free loading AP holders' packing into the parks, should be given calenders as an apology.

The cost of this utter nonsensical gift could be put forward to lowering car parking charges (even if it's only a dollar) or something similar, rather than this utterly pointless waste of money in my opinion.

How do they determine higher spending international visitors? What if they’re cheapskates?

And what about high spending national (ie: US) visitors?

Or high spending AP holders? After all, they’ve given Disney lots of money for their AP?

Just rebook Thailand for next year Donnie, and stop getting your knickers in a twist.

Your opinion is worthless.

Go back to Thailand.
