Um, actually his name is just Ice Gator, not THE Ice Gator
A very good guess and technically partially right as Disney has been inconsistent with that naming scheme in the past. Also, if you look closely on the deed to the Ski Patrol Training Camp that the statue of Ice Gator holds in the kid's area, his name seems to be signed as "Joe Gator" implying that "Ice Gator" is a nickname or implying that whatever imagineer painted that is really bad at writing in cursive.

If no one else has the right answer, I'll call what you said as the win

Um, actually, the Mickey Ice Cream bars are sold more because you can also buy them at local stores!
Um, actually Disney has not been selling these items at these quantities for every single year since its inception as a company, additionally the full title of the attraction is the “Twilight Zone Tower of Terror”
Neither of those are what I was looking for but both are technically correct which is the best kind of correct!

What I was looking for was Um, Actually... Disney sells 1.3 Million Turkey Legs each year (on average). Which means about 2 Million pounds of Turkey!
