It’s too bad Disney doesn’t sell figurines of the toy soldiers like the ones under the Town square tree. Probably would cost them to much and to to much demand.
i doon't think "too too much demand" would be a reason Disney would not make replica toy soldiers.... I am sure they would love to make some extra millions with another sellable item...but probably they would feel the demand would not be high enough...

I know it would never happen but I wish they would just abolish the paywall parties and have festive offerings for everyone every night in season. Certainly the admission price is enough that it's not that farfetched. But they realized people would pay $200+ for this event so who could blame them, I guess? It would also eliminate the bad side effects of the parties, like non party nights becoming unbearably crowded and borderline dangerous with the parade/fireworks.

I am curious what the tipping point will be with the parties where people decide it's not worth it. $300? $500? Because at the rate we're going these prices aren't going to be that far in the future.

I'm not saying they are not fun events; they are. Are they $200+ fun? Not so sure. I think the festive offerings could very easily be included in everyday admission. It would spread the crowd out a lot more.

Small things can kindle big hope...encouraged somewhat by the decorations in all of the lands...I was always sad when the decorations existed only on Main Street and Christmas was all but forgotten in all of the other "lands."

I continue to be flummoxed by JWN, I do not understand why people pay extra for that, come pay more money to buy highly priced food unavailable at other times, see two stage shows and the worst “nighttime spectacular” Disney has ever made. Meanwhile we will severely restrict access to that parks most popular ride and the hours are so limited you will have a hard time getting everything in.

At the castle parties, I can easily do nearly all the attractions I want to ride at that park, see the parade, fireworks, castle show and get some “free treats” all at a price less then a day ticket. It helps that the entertainment is fantastic at both too. JWN seems focused on the two aspects of the castle parties I don’t partake in (speciality pay for food) or rarely participate in (character meet and greets.)

Disney has shared a first look at Annual Passholder Christmas Party merch - a zip-up hoodie and pin, available at the Emporium during the party:
