Why is announcing something in advance a bad thing?

Since the Studios expansion is set to open in March, they’ll be hoping for a bumper summer. This just entices people to book now for October. Maybe they find people hold off booking at that time until the dates are announced.

Not them announcing something early. It's the "starting earlier than ever before!", the date-creep into September. Remember when the MK Halloween parties had "only" 23-25 dates and started in mid-September (even a scant 10 years ago)? Now it's 38 dates starting in early August. Because to upper management, if 15 of something is special, then 30 or more of something is even more specialererer!!!

Of course, I think Halloween anywhere should be limited to October, so there's that as well. 🤷‍♂️

It’s only starting a week earlier than this year.

It’s the announcement that DLP Report said was “the earliest ever”.

And DLP doesn’t restrict Halloween to pay-extra party nights.

At least DLP doesn't have any pay-extra Halloween parties. All the Halloween offerings are included in your ticket, and you're just getting an extra week of extra entertainment now

This is much ado about nothing. I have many September pictures in DLP with Halloween decorations - definitely as early as 20 September in 2019 (I’m too lazy to look to see if I have any earlier dates as well)

It is also pretty much in line what other European parks are doing. Europa-Park started the Halloween season on September 27 in the park and Traumatica - Festival of Fear even on September 24 this year.

About the berm for the "third park" area — why did they stop building it where they did?

Did they run out of excavated earth from creating Adventure Bay?

Yellow = berm

Red = no berm, and I'm wondering why.

I found this, but it doesn't say why there's that big gap.

I read a few years ago that land in France that sits unused for a specific amount of time is then in the clear to be settled on by travelers. By building a berm the land is then classed as in use and the timer resets.

They haven’t finished building the berm because they don’t actually need it or particularly want it yet. Was just an easy thing to build that will one day maybe have a use.

Yeah, I don't get the issue. This is Disney including extra offerings for visitors to the park for perhaps a week or so longer, which I would think was a good thing.

They've been building in phases, when there's an excess of dirt from construction or in this case digging they build the berms, a lot of dirt has been excavated from the Lion King plot of land as construction begins and it's all being stored backstage behind the Studios berm, if I were to guess we'll see it being transported and brought here to continue the berms.
