Why is announcing something in advance a bad thing?
Since the Studios expansion is set to open in March, they’ll be hoping for a bumper summer. This just entices people to book now for October. Maybe they find people hold off booking at that time until the dates are announced.
Not them announcing something early. It's the "starting earlier than ever before!", the date-creep into September. Remember when the MK Halloween parties had "only" 23-25 dates and started in mid-September (even a scant 10 years ago)? Now it's 38 dates starting in early August. Because to upper management, if 15 of something is special, then 30 or more of something is even more specialererer!!!
Of course, I think Halloween anywhere should be limited to October, so there's that as well.
