Honestly, I think how aesthetically improved Tomorrowland would be if this and the Joffreys kiosk were used as inspiration to carry these design themes throughout the rest of the land. This makes me want more. Stage next. Then level Launch Depot for something sleeker. Then remove the dumb wing and tower by Stitch. Then replace the rocks and remove the surrounding rocket things. Then redesign the Orbiter during its next refurb. I just need the train toward a de-uglied Tomorrowland to keep on rolling.
“Select few?” I don’t know about that. Things have definitely been heading in the right direction recently, IMO.Love the signage and love the vibe. Too bad they only are putting effort into a very select few things for some reason.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether would like a word…“Select few?” I don’t know about that. Things have definitely been heading in the right direction recently, IMO.
While I strongly disagree with many of the creative decisions made in the Zootopia show, I can see the effort. Quality animatronics, beautiful animation, and it's a fairly entertaining show, IMO. ITTBAB was better, mainly because it adhered to DAK's principles, so in that sense it's not moving in the right direction.Zootopia: Better Zoogether would like a word…
(Although I do agree this kiosk looks fab!)

But, if we were still under Chapek, Clawhauser would've been a screen. The Bellwether figure would've been budget cut. In general, the quality of Disney's projects has ticked up significantly even if I don't always agree with their creative decisions.
A lot has changed since the decisions that lead to Communicore Hall were made. Upper management has changed over at TWDC/WDI, it's hard to lump those decisions in with the current batch of new things. Projects like Astro Fizz, Beak and Barrel, and Test Track all this year show that philosophy has changed. The next wave of big and small projects should hopefully continue in that direction. All the Epcot changes, ending with Geo82, were misfires mainly due to budget cuts and upper management not knowing how to handle the task of 'updating Epcot' - Luckily a lot of those people are gone. Barbara Bouza no longer running WDI, Bob Chapek no longer leading the company, Zach Riddley working on the new park, and even operationally, Kartika Rodriguez no longer as park VP should help Epcot in the long-term.A lot of recent projects have featured rather generic or boring designs. Geo82 looks like an upscale but ordinary hotel lobby bar. Don’t get me started on Communicore Hall. Compare Creations Shop to Mouse Gear. One is a generic bland box and the other was an experience by comparison. It’s not about quality or lack thereof, just lack of Disney theming or charm IMO. Boring design you could find anywhere.
This is a step in the right direction even if it’s just a kiosk. Beak and Barrel is another positive step.
or that they are gluten free? LOL I saw a "gluten Free" sticker on a tomato at the grocery store....LOL. The new vedning boot is beautiful...I really hope they do something with that awful stage thing to match....and then actuaal entrance to the land...replacing the horrible "rocks" entrance.... dynamic lighting?, water feature?,A dramatic and monumenta entrance? that is what shouold be there...Do we really need to be told that popcorn and lemonade are "plant based". Seriously?
I get "gluten free". People really need to know that kind of thing because of what they can eat. My church now offers gluten-free wafers. I kid you not. But to be told that popcorn (made from corn) and lemonade (made from lemons) is "plant-based" is ridiculous. Have we really descended to that level of stupidity?or that they are gluten free?
