I'm still confused if that is encouraging applause or just guest actual reaction to the show...
…that’s AI

Fast, short cuts were the staple of MTV music videos from the 80s. You get longer single scenes on Tiktok than a music video (or an action movie fight sequence which intercuts stunt doubles every 2 seconds.)

Blame generation X.
I hope you’re not serious. Our generation actually watched those videos in their entirety. Kids today can barely get through a single chorus without changing the track. Trust me, I have teenagers. 😉

My eyes have beheld 40 years of fast cuts. They have most definitively happened.

Watching a video to the end doesn't mean you weren't served up dozens of quick cuts during it.

The big difference is we couldn’t just swipe when we got bored. We had to continue to watch or listen just to catch our favorite song on tv or radio. Or keep watching “The Box” hoping someone else ponied up the cash to play the song we were hoping for. 😂

The other thing I found funny about the Mystic Springs bit, is that when Nick and Judy run in the nudist's tent, you can see everyone just threw their clothes in baskets out in the open that can easily get stolen XD.

I also thought it was cute that when Yax asks Nick and Judy if they want to "shed their inhibitions", Judy glances at the camera because she knows the audience is watching her before she gets embarssed and declines XD..

You must love that new wdw “experiency” rides are like 45 seconds
What does this even mean? Rides of the same "type" are about the same length now as they have always been. The coasters have always been 1.5-3 minutes, the faster-moving dark rides have always been 5ish, and the slower-moving dark rides have always been 7-15. I'll grant that certain types of rides (e.g. Universe of Energy, GMR) have fallen out of favor, which means that the general attraction mix tends toward things that are shorter by nature, but that doesn't really have anything to do with this nebulous "experiency" concept you're peddling. If anything, the focus on experience and storytelling needlessly pads things with a glut of pre-shows.

Well I know I'm gonna be ripped apart for it but I absolutely love:

1. Tron
2. Tiana's
3. Cosmic Rewind
4. CBMJ
5. BOTH the Pandora rides.
6. Test Track 3.0
7. MMRR
8. Rise
9. Millenium Falcon (while it can use more scenes, I find it a very fun experience to fly)
You won’t be ripped apart…
Because I think you just like anything that give you the “D”…that’s pretty common

Two of the the more recent “headliner” installations in wdw clock in under a minute…without extensive preshows and theming…so they don’t handle a lot of people or move them through quickly

So for a place known for handling crowd better than anyone…why?

Again, that is about attraction mix and what they opt to build. Whether they're choosing rightly or wrongly, I still don't understand how that connects to your comment about things being more "experiency" or whatever. If anything, they're moving away from attractions that need to be sold as "experiences" of occasionally unpredictable length toward things that function within a largely guest-understood set of parameters based on and consistent with past precedent, e.g. a coaster is [w] length, a fast dark ride is [x] length, a slow dark ride is [y] length, a simulator is [z] length, etc. A notable exception might be something like Rise, which I think may genuinely attempt to do what you're talking about, assuming I understand your meaning at all?

I cannot believe how much they butchered the entire premise of Animal Kingdom, inside the icon of the park, and not even TRY to tie anything in. Why are you being splashed and sprayed...through a satellite video? What in the world happened in this storyboard/development man. Just brutal.
Agreed. Makes me nervous about the probably empty promises to tie Indy and Encanto into the park. I guess the most vague connection is good enough.

I was sandbagging it a bit

These things feed the fastpass and now lightning lane monster

I expect that will continue

This monsters ride being the first to roll out

The magic of Disney parks was that their attractions appealed to all of the family. Now it more important to check a box.
This!! This show is preschool fodder at best, and aside from the animatronic I would put this on par with that beauty and the beast sing along muck they chuffed into the France pavilion. Imagineering really has no high aiming bar any longer, that's sad. Its just whatever wherever no reason, sell the precious lighting lanes thats all that matters now.
