It's getting to the point where if Disney painted a wall green there would be outrage from people that they didn't paint it purple.Well yeah, because you can’t imply anything about health without someone taking offense or feeling attacked or something. It seems almost everything is becoming polarized in this way. It’s a shame.

I also still want an Aladdin ride for Morocco
didn't stop them putting a meeting greet there, and I agree, but honestly at the rate of I just want investmentThat's akin to asking for a King Arthur ride for a Canada pavilion
Unfortunately, The issue is more politically charged now than it was in 1989.With health and wellness being more in vogue these days and all the fitness apps and whatnot a revitalized health pavilion would make a ton of sense but I guess they don’t want to go that direction.
It is actually kind of hilarious in retrospect how short a time the wand was there considering how controversial it was. I can honestly believe that people who did not attend EPCOT from 1999 through 2007 would actually be surprised to learn it was ever there. I hated the Hat much more and that lasted nearly 15 years compared to the seven and a half years of the wand.I remember they made pieces from the wand over Spaceship Earth (remember that?) into pins...so you could buy a Disney pin that had a tiny piece of the wand in them.
Never going to happen. Aladdin is not a Moroccan story and Aladdin is the most recent Disney Film released to have a cultural sensitivity warning added to it on Disney+. They are not going to open that can of worms, trust me.I also still want an Aladdin ride for Morocco
It might have literally broken the internet! Can you imagine if the current day internet existed back in 1989 and how fans would have reacted to Disney World getting two new rides with the exact same ride system with two months of each other?
Or at the very least broken Go.com, which admittedly still isn’t very hard to do.It might have literally broken the internet!
How? The same way they put it up except in reverse order. How could they store it? In the same type containment vessel in which they packed it up and shipped it from Maryland. Disney has some ginormous warehouses. It just comes down to logistics. You can't save everything, and the mobile was a huge piece. It was assembled in pieces in Maryland and then welded together inside Wonders at the last possible second (weeks before opening). How do you take that down and safely remove it from the building? Where/how do you store it? It wouldn't surprise me if these are all questions that were asked when it was taken down, but I do unfortunately doubt that much of it (if any) was saved from the rubble.
Thinking about this again, hear me out...demolish WOL in Q1 2026. Announce a refurb on Mission: SPACE, closing late Q2 2025.
Then at D23 announce a new "something" that occupies both the SPACE and WoL footprint.
Mission Space is tough because of 220. I can see a redo of the story, graphics and the ride vehicles, but I'd be surprised at something completely new.
Plus, at best, by 2001 wand was an eyesore. By 2001 hat was an eyesore tooIt is actually kind of hilarious in retrospect how short a time the wand was there considering how controversial it was. Animated Aladdin was #1 film of 1993 if memory serves correctly. If those who put Frozen in Norway were in charge back then, and Morocco was not the uniquely pavilion it already was, I could see this shoehorned in (idk if they still have Aladdin M&G there but they did for a time)Never going to happen. Aladdin is not a Moroccan story and Aladdin is the most recent Disney Film released to have a cultural sensitivity warning added to it on Disney+. They are not going to open that can of worms, trust me.
