Disney has shared Virtual Queue details on how to meet Santa Claus at Disney Springs starting November 13:

From November 13 through December 24, 2025, a virtual queue will be in place to meet Santa Claus near Disney’s Pin Traders in Disney Springs (subject to availability).

You can use the My Disney Experience app to enter the virtual queue. A standby queue will not be available. There will be multiple opportunities to enter the virtual queue throughout the day, including:
  • 9:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM
Important Information
  • You must be at Disney Springs in order to enter the virtual queue.
  • One person in your party can request to join the virtual queue for your entire party. They will receive a push notification when your party is ready to return. This push notification will open to a link to a digital entry code. If you are unable to find your digital entry code, select the 3-line "hamburger" icon in the app and select "Virtual Queues."
  • There is a maximum party size of 10 people.

In my opinion, (if they are truly limiting the number of tickets sold) I think these hard ticket events are a better value than the corresponding day ticket for that day.

I have always suggested to folks if you have a party ticket do not use a day ticket that day; you can enter the park with the party ticket at 4PM and go till 12PM (they still allow this, right?)

Nostalgia is strong and these parties will continue to sell out no matter the offerings.

While true, there are a large portion of people who go to these parties who have never attended a party (or haven't in many years), so it's all fresh to them. That's why they continue to sell out and why Disney has no incentive to change them. That said, you have to imagine they're pushing the pricing limit on some of these to where people aren't willing to pay, whether they've gone or not. But I've been saying that for a while and they keep raising prices and they keep selling out.

If they are truly limiting attendance in these parties, its an OK experience, The only time I got on TRON was during a party.
Halloween party this year felt super limited, all wait times were under 20 minutes for us, most hovering around 10.

Although, I did do both the Halloween and Christmas party last year, and the Christmas party felt a lot more mobbed to us. Maybe the limit is different for the different parties?

According to some IG stories, looks like there were overnight rehearsals for Frozen Holiday Surprise earlier this morning (10/28).

Also castle projection testing for the holidays.

For the quick service dishes, like the pot roast sandwich at Cosmic Rays, that are only during party hours, will these be available at 5-6pm? Or do we need to eat after 7pm to get them?

That was my question as well. I suspect I know the answer but... I'll wait to see if anyone with more solid information can contribute.

We haven't been to the Christmas party since 2017 or 2018. I remember getting a snowman pretzel and a snow cone at one of the stops. We will be back again this year and can't wait.
