Yes but could see them throw in the older AA's in certain areas your moving quick. Plus could always skin them to put on new AA's. ie I still feel a lot of props and stuff from Muppetvision could be reused. im more just grateful there actually using/putting AA's (more then one) in an attraction that's never had them

I've seen complaints about Steve's Kermit and the other Muppets "sounding wrong" too (I recall there being a review of the 2015 show on IMDB that complained about Bunsen's voice, even though it's still Dave Goelz!). I've said this before, but I think most people only complain about the Muppets' voices because of that Family Guy sketch @Cmdr_Crimson posted... like, after they saw that, they all went "Oh, yeah! That's another thing we can complain about!". Even if it they had Peter Linz take over as Kermit like everyone's been suggesting, there'd probably still be complaints about Kermit's voice.

I think nostalgia also plays into it. I think I first watched Steve's Kermit in Christmas Carol and Treasure Island before seeing Muppet Vision and the OG Muppet Movies, and in those, Jim's Kermit sounds off to me, even though its the original. The same with Walt's Mickey compared to modern day Mickey sounding very different to me. It at least looks like Matt's Kermit is improving, with him nailing any Kermit singing and the latest video sounding more Kermit-y than before

Good point. Voices change as we age. 1934 (Wise Little Hen) Donald sounds different from 1984 Donald (50th Birthday TV special...or Mickey's Christmas Carol the year before), though same exact person throughout. Identical ages with Goelz: also started at 29...latest performances at 79 (though I hope Goelz is able to continue for years to come)

I just remembered something I read around the late nineties. Frank Oz said he hated being considered the "voice" of Fozzie, Miss Piggy, etc. He was trying to say what matters even more than voice was capturing their personality and acting.

Matt Lillard is a great S h a g g y (censors won’t let me post the name).

He worked on it for years and was the official voice in animation, until he got kicked out with everyone else for a bunch of celebrities for the failed big-screen adaptation that came out within the past few years.

It was Casey Kasem for sometime in the late 00's when he reprised his roll for Norvell Rogers for What's new Scooby-Doo.,.However before that Billy West did his voice for Zombie Island and Scott Ines for Alien Invaders and Cyberchase took over prior to the live action films when Lillard said he was the official voice afterwards..

If you like Gravity Falls, you should probably like the DuckTales reboot.

Jellystone! is one of the most witless, unfunny, disrespectful cartoons ever made. It's a show for people who hate Hanna-Barbera and its characters.

I don't know why you seem to think liking one recast but not another is hypocritical.

I just think it's weird that people badmouth Matt Vogel's Kermit (and the other Muppets' voices as well) but nobody seems to have a problem with these far worse recasts. At least Matt's trying to sound like Kermit.

with the Muppets, the entirety of the performance is solely on the performer (besides in a Show, where there's still writers), and it's clear that THIS Kermit just ain't it for a lot of people.

If Kermit's PERSONALITY feels off, that could be on Disney dictating how Matt should perform him. I recall it was popular to blame Steve for the way Kermit was written in stuff like the ABC series.

First of all, he's still the official voice. Second, he only got to be the official voice because people like those crappy live action films. He sounds nothing like Casey Kasem. There's a reason why nobody's asking for Emma Watson to take over as the voice of Belle, or for Elizabeth Perkins to start doing the voice of Wilma Flintstone.

And while replacing everyone with celebrities for Scoob! was awful, I think replacing Frank Welker as Fred - y'know, the character he's been voicing since the show premiered - with Zac Efron because they thought it would sell more tickets was more insulting than replacing Matthew Lillard (not that Will Forte was any better).

My only concern with Goelz is in his voicing of Gonzo which at times lacks the high energy zany delivery it once did. But it's understandable given his age.

Hopefully they take that into consideration...like it was done for Carol Spinney and Jerry Nelson towards the end of their lives (again, I pray for many more years for Dave Golez...and that he's getting to properly train his inevitable successor)

Funny thing is every time I post this Figment Screen test footage..IMO the voice of him here is Late Muppeteer Jerry Nelson as I hear Fozzie's Mom, Robin and Fraggle Rock's Gobo when he's doing this..It's Not Billy Barty, Corey Burton or Dave Goelz....
