No, those are not the dates at all.

Expect to see it Memorial Day '26 through at least end of Summer '27. Perhaps longer, definitely longer in CA.

Edit: I see where you got the impression that Veteran's Day would be the start, because thats when this 'celebration' starts. That is not the case. The new footage isn't even complete.

World is the permanent attraction. Your argument would be saying Jungle Cruise (or Haunted Mansion at DL) aren't permanent because they get temporary overlays.

Do you know how rare it is that NPS lets you film in Yosemite Valley? Reusing something you otherwise couldn’t get again isn’t cheap.

Also can’t currently get a permit to film in National Parks.

This is actually a really cool announcement. Obviously, execution will matter... But, I feel like this could be a really great addition for the US parks. And it could bring back some of the excitement (and a new, hopefully more energetic remix) of the theme song.

I know they would never do it, but it would be incredible to have some type of reverse - where you go west to east in DL and east to west at WDW. I'm not actually suggesting that. Just a fun idea.

I do really hope they do this well. And, it makes me happy that things like this and TT suggest there are some in leadership that want to preserve what made EPCOT what it was.

Well, they did use a CGI Taj Mahal in "World" that stands out like having a Freddy Krueger meet and greet in Fantasy Land so never say never!

I lived in New Orleans for many years. While I love the city, to say it's clean below or beautiful above would be the greatest pixie dusting of a lifetime.

I have been here since the 60's. New Orleans has been a city since 1718. In fact, the French Quarter was were the city began, since it was the only area above the water. Now if they include the smell of the French Quarter @ midnight after Mardi Gras. I'm out!!!!!
