MNSSHP Table Service Question

Hi there!

I noticed that both Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest are offering special menus during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which the website lists as starting at 4 PM. If I’m visiting Magic Kingdom that day but don’t have a party ticket (and will be in the park until 6 PM), would I still be able to order from those special menus? Or are they only available to guests attending the party?

Thanks so much for your help!

The sites are saying the menu is available at 4pm, and they do not say an event ticket must be purchased to dine. Since non-event park guests can stay in the park until the event starts and then get ushered out starting at 6pm, I would think you could. Reservations may be hard to get.

The reply here suggests the special menu unfortunately won’t be available to you:

I know MNSSHP ticketed guests get preferential and special things. But none of the multiple sites that list the menu have any notice that in park at the time non-event guests can't get served from the menu when the menu becomes available at 4pm. Maybe it gets specified on the ADR site when making reservations but they should all specify the rules regarding this.

I can't imagine a restaurant would run 2 separate menus at the same time. That makes no sense and only creates massive headaches logistically for the CMs.

It doesn’t sound that difficult to me, plus it makes sense from an exclusivity perspective. planDisney is an official source, so I would take their answer seriously. That said, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if more accommodating servers were prepared to make exceptions in order to keep guests happy. Perhaps someone could try their luck and report back to us!

Disney doesn't even claim to back-up the answers posted to planDisney. They are often incorrect.

Panelists have received/will receive a Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort or Disney Cruise Line® vacation for panelist and up to three family members and/or park tickets for their planDisney participation. The views expressed on plandisneypanel.com are those of the panelists, who are independent contractors. I’m not really sure what you want me to say. Yes, the answer could be wrong, but it doesn’t seem at all unlikely to me that they would limit MNSSHP offerings to MNSSHP guests, at least as a matter of official policy. Hopefully someone with firsthand experience of this situation will weigh in.

I just took a look at both restaurants' official webpages, which mention the party menus. For MNSSHP, the wording makes it seem as if the special offerings are available only during the party, even though we know that's not the case.

For the Christmas party, however, they state the following:

Check back soon for details about special menu items offered exclusively for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Guests starting at 4:00 PM.

Thank you for the information! It’s a bit frustrating because I don’t want to use party time for table-service dining. The seasonal menus make me really want to book reservations at those restaurants and go again—but I’d rather not do that during the parties.

If you have party tickets, though, you can still be served the special items after 4, before the party has actually started. Based on your first post, I didn’t think you had party tickets.
