I'd imagine there will be one soon for it. I can see them taking advantage of the demolition crews from RoA to take down WoL.
I don't think it'll be replaced with anything soon, just cleared so we don't have that abandoned space anymore.

That appears to be a complete hoax…
And since nothing was done by demo and nonsense “WDI insider” type smoke…it’s Nearly impossible to disprove it was a hoax

It really is strange because it seems like they have some very popular IP that would fit well into it, while keeping the theme of the pavilion in tact (Inside Out, Baymax from Big Hero 6). Maybe the ideas just aren't strong enough or maybe the ideas are strong, they just don't fit into the current space.

I must unfortunately chime in here and share that yes, for several reasons I am inclined to believe this is happening soon. I was hoping this would be another gut job but if other people are hearing the whole building… :/
Play Pavilion we hardly knew you, and with that, the failure of New Epcot is complete.
It's amazing that a company of dreamers and storytellers can't find a use for it.

Uses costs money…and more guest areas “reduce demand”
Unless there is an overwhelming maintenance issue and associated expense.
An empty lot is a lot cheaper to maintain than an existing building. (or the building is in such bad and neglected shape inside that tearing it down is the only option.)

Agree on maintenance…think the “expense” is more how more pavilions defeat the new financial goals in the park

They redid the roof before or around 2020, but I imagine that didn't work out well.

Agree, just seems odd they wouldn’t realize it was in such rough shape before completely redoing the exterior.
With all the money they just spent on this building, without ever using it, you’d think they’d try to reuse it like they did with Guardians, even if just for a queue space with a new show building behind it.
