That appears to be a complete hoax…That would be kinda surprising, considering the work they had done for Play Pavilion before it got axed. I can't imagine they demolish the building with no plans for what comes after. Or maybe they do?

Uses costs money…and more guest areas “reduce demand”It's amazing that a company of dreamers and storytellers can't find a use it.
Unless there is an overwhelming maintenance issue and associated expense.Yeah, it's very unusual for Disney to demo something until they have plans to replace it.
An empty lot is a lot cheaper to maintain than an existing building. (or the building is in such bad and neglected shape inside that tearing it down is the only option.)I must unfortunately chime in here and share that yes, for several reasons I am inclined to believe this is happening soon. I was hoping this would be another gut job but if other people are hearing the whole building… :/
Agree on maintenance…think the “expense” is more how more pavilions defeat the new financial goals in the parkUnless there is an overwhelming maintenance issue and associated expense.
They redid the roof before or around 2020, but I imagine that didn't work out well.Unless there is an overwhelming maintenance issue and associated expense.
Play Pavilion we hardly knew you, and with that, the failure of New Epcot is complete.

Agree, just seems odd they wouldn’t realize it was in such rough shape before completely redoing the exterior. An empty lot is a lot cheaper to maintain than an existing building. (or the building is in such bad and neglected shape inside that tearing it down is the only option.)
