“Soarin over the land” would be idealObviously, I hope the EPCOT version returns to "around the world" after this limited-time event, per the whole concept of EPCOT.

“The America Pavilion Featuring The American Adventure” isn’t an american section to you? They really don’t have “American sections”…per se…
Main Street still qualifies I guess
The other most “Americana” section in Orlando is behind a construction wall with bulldozers…currently
I think they were referring to the Magic Kingdom.“The America Pavilion Featuring The American Adventure” isn’t an american section to you?
It is…but small and not what they’d put in an overhead/cgi drone shot as “iconic”“The America Pavilion Featuring The American Adventure” isn’t an american section to you?
Just didn’t seem the kinda thing you can “focus on” in a 2 second shot…unless you’re in like the matrix or something?I think they were referring to the Magic Kingdom.
But you only need 1 approach. And coming in over Liberty Island down towards Manhattan is the correct shot.Only if you are coming at it from
Right off the battery and over to maybe Liberty island?
Any other approach New York is a bit of a mess
The “down town” is spread out over tens of miles…mostly because scrapers could only be built near the bototm
Of Manhattan and then in the pocket around midtown…due to rock formations
So it doesn’t “look” like a vista kinda city from the west, east and north
I agree…though Lady is in the “armpit of New Jersey”. (Fun fact for the kids: the statue is in New Jersey and not really in the field of a good shot of the NYC skyline unless you see her from the rump side)But you only need 1 approach. And coming in over Liberty Island down towards Manhattan is the correct shot.
Who called that one? I know it's 250, but still, this is a nice surprise (if they keep the Goldsmith score intact in some way).
I agree on everything. Soarin' Over the USA or something would be a better title. Unless there will be a scene over the Amazon or something included.Kinda seems like a boorish list…to be honest…
The best parts about THE UNITED STATES (i hate that they’re using ‘Merica in the title…it’s not accurate) are the nature scapes inland…not really the city skylines and beaches…with some exceptions
The best city skyline/reveal…
No joke…it’s probably Pittsburgh from the south. As ridiculous as that sounds
And since I am a REALLY dragging my feet on doing a $200K PITA Invoice…I did a little arts and crafts…But you only need 1 approach. And coming in over Liberty Island down towards Manhattan is the correct shot.
Looks like you’ll get your wish!I hope Florida (outside WDW) gets a scene... probably Miami or the Keys?
I don’t think you can have a tribute to the US without including New York City.I do not envy the WDI team tasked with choosing locations to film. I would personally avoid cities other than D.C. We have more than enough disparate biomes to fill 4 minutes.
Why would you?I don’t think you can have a tribute to the US without including New York City.
@ToTBellHop was suggesting that cities should be avoided to skirt controversy, but NYC seems like such a no-brainer to me that I really can’t imagine any objections. Plus I think they’ll be careful to avoid overly bendy shots of the skyscrapers after they realised their mistake with the Eiffel Tower. Why would you?
That makes no sense![]()
That’s an operational/queuing nightmare given the existing queue setup.Genuine question, since Epcot has 3 theaters, could there ever be a possibility in the future that all 3 versions are available to choose to experience at the same time (like OG Soarin’ is in concourse A, etc) or do all theaters need to be synched to the same film at the same time?
The Eiffel Tower was a mistake with an attempt to “over” it….@ToTBellHop was suggesting that cities should be avoided to skirt controversy, but NYC seems like such a no-brainer to me that I really can’t imagine any objections. Easy, Newt…I'm honestly shocked nuDisney is doing something this patriotic and pro-America. I'll tip my cap, this looks like it could be a great addition.![]()
