Disney+'s interface is pretty crappy when you add Hulu. It's not very well categorized. It's like an explosion of stuff. Some of it is even duplicated over and over.

To me it is laggy as well...compared to other streaming apps.

I've noticed that too. Too much stuff trying to be displayed. It's confusing.
Peacock's design is far easier to navigate and is fairly quick.

Good thing they will be redesigning it and building a new unified App launching next year.

I hope it’s better. But if they don’t change the bones, it won’t be. Hulu itself is actually better imo.

The "bones" as you call it isn't likely the issue, its the UI and its functionality that would be the source of the issues you guys are talking about.

Even the recent redesigns of D+ have made it a lot better overall. I'm not sure what device you're using but on Firestick it looks and works fine for me. But I can't imagine any redesign for the unified app will be any worse.

What device do you watch on? On my TV the app is quite snappy, whereas the animations feel too slow on mobile and tablet, particularly after selecting a movie or TV show.

I hope it’s better. But if they don’t change the bones, it won’t be. Hulu itself is actually better imo.

Mmm…hard disagree. I have to force close Hulu on a pretty regular basis due to glitches and bugs. Never had this problem with Disney+. The Disney+ app also streams Hulu content at a higher bitrate than the Hulu app, so you actually get higher quality video by watching Hulu content in the Disney+ app.

They'll all likely converge to a common layout.

When one service adds a nice update and gets good remarks from users, the other streamers will follow.

Especially when the UI doesn't act like expected, the complaints bring about updates.

I have no issues with lag on my Apple TV…. The issues people are having with the interface could have something to do with adding Hulu into the Disney app for those that have the bundle…. That could be a reason for deleting the Hulu app to eliminate such issues
